Hola Beaches Background
We’ve owned a 30A short-term rental property, Hola Beaches, since fall of 2021. After recently selling a property in Omaha, we decided to add another property to the Hola Beaches portfolio. Today we’re excited to share all the details on Hola Beaches Casita! You can follow both properties on Instagram here. You can also see my design plans and get a bit more background info on the home here.
Hola Beaches Casita is a three-bedroom townhome located just north of 30A in the Prominence neighborhood near Watersound, FL. The neighborhood is known for its proximity to The Big Chill (formerly The Hub) as well as being about halfway between Rosemary Beach and Seaside. Our unit is at the end of a street, so all of the windows and doors look out into the forest! It’s much more private than many of the other townhomes you’ll find in the area, yet very close to the community pool. You can find all of the other amenities here.
Let’s jump into the tour!
Hola Beaches Casita Main Floor
The main floor of Hola Beaches Casita consists of a living room, kitchen, dining room, bathroom, laundry room, and access to the two-car garage. The garage is filled with beach essentials as well as a 6-seater golf cart and 6 bikes!
The living room is fairly spacious and leads out to a deck that has a beautiful view of the woods behind the property. The paint color throughout the home is Sherwin Williams White Duck for reference. The window coverings throughout came with the home so I don’t have any info on them currently.
I used this slipcovered sofa that several of my friends own and love (super easy to wash) and then these budget-friendly light blue upholstered swivel chairs from Walmart! The media cabinet is a look-for-less find that is similar to this cabinet we have in our loft.
This coffee table has been a long-time favorite, and opens up for easy storage. I also love how easy the top is to clean.
I was excited to find this oyster canvas art! Our is the 36″x36″ and the price is pretty hard to beat for the size! I opted for the simple wrapped canvas, but there are framed options (and multiple other sizes), as well.
Behind the sofa, we also have another little sitting area with these upholstered swivel chairs, also from Walmart. We have one of these chairs in my office and Kurtis sits in it frequently when he comes in to chat. It’s really comfy and we love that the slipcovers are fully removable for washing purposes. Ideal for a rental property! Side note: they were already super affordable but are now on sale! This wood & marble table was another budget-friendly sale find.

The kitchen is fully stocked with all the essentials for meals-in during your stay!
KITCHEN SOURCES: Kitchen Pendant Lights | Kitchen Counter Stools | Similar Vase | Faux Fan Palms
In addition to the kitchen bar seating, there is an adjoining dining room that seats six. I was most excited about this Scalloped Wicker Light Fixture that is a great look-for-less option to the chandeliers we have in our kitchen at home!
DINING ROOM SOURCES: Scalloped Wicker Light Fixture | Dining Table | Dining Chairs | Dining Arm Chairs | Mirror: Purchased locally at Resort Resale
Hola Beaches Casita Upstairs
As you head upstairs, you’ll find three bedrooms. There is a king bedroom and a twin bedroom that share a hallway bathroom. There is also another king bedroom with an en suite bathroom.
Hola Beaches Casita King Bedroom #1
When we bought the home, this bedroom had a queen size bed. But we knew for rental purposes, king beds are preferred so we made the switch. I really love how it all came together!
BEDROOM #1 SOURCES: Upholstered Bed (also here) | Nightstands | Linen Pillow Covers | Handwoven Basket Art | Striped Jute Rug | Hanging Lamps | Ceiling Fan | Small Scalloped Tray
Hola Beaches Casita Bunk Bedroom
The “bunk room” might very well be my favorite room in the house! We call it the bunk room because eventually we may add bunks to sleep two more people, but for the time being I think it’s such a cute space!
The wavy headboards were another budget find, and I can’t get enough of them! They come in multiple colors, and are such a fun addition to the space!
BEDROOM #2 SOURCES: Wavy Headboards (also here) | Striped Rug | Nightstand | Ceiling Fan | Gallery Frames | Pennants (Hola, Surf, 30A, Gulf Coast, Swiss Cross, Beach House) | Throw Pillow Covers | Lamp | Vase | Fan Palms
Hola Beaches Casita King Bedroom #2
In this space, I wanted to create a serene vibe, using white, blue and neutrals. The upholstered bed is such a gorgeous look-for-less alternative to this bed we have in our house. I am super pleased with the quality and love how it looks in the space!
One of our property managers asked where I got these nightstands. Apparently he keeps a list of furniture he loves/hates assembly, and apparently this one made the “good list”! I still can’t get enough of these designer look-for-less lamps and hope they do a restock soon! You can find a similar option here.
BEDROOM #3 SOURCES: Upholstered Bed | Nightstands | Lamps (similar here) | Euro Shams | Brushstroke Pillow Covers | Rug | Seagrass Stools | Paper Mache Coral Art | Bobbin Mirror | Dresser | Ceiling Fan | Faux Palm Tree | Large Cachepot | Small Cachepot | Disc Beads
I didn’t take many photos of the bathrooms, but you can find them along with additional pictures in the rental listing here. If I missed a source, feel free to let me know and I can try and hunt it down!
I hope you enjoyed this tour! We, along with our property managers, would love to host you at Hola Beaches Casita along 30A Florida!

Hi Sarah,
I’m interested in the “dust ruffles” on the twin beds in your BUNK BEDROOM.
Thanks for any info on them. Love the Casita!
Thank you Ann! I used these skirts from Target: https://rstyle.me/+yewZflroKfp08nxB-i9Omw
The casita is the perfect “coastal getaway”. I love how you find the looks for less to create a beautiful home.
Thank you so much! I appreciate the comment 🙂
Would like more info on your bed linens please. I love the simplicity here.
Thank you Lisa! Our property manager actually ordered the bed linens. They get them through a commerical hospitality company so they know they’ll always be available for replacements. I can double-check, but I’m not sure they sell them to the public without more of a bulk order.
I LOVE everything about how you’ve designed the casita. It’s beautiful and perfectly beachy. Question: are the light blue swivel chairs comfortable?
Thank you so much! And yes – we thought they were really comfy! They’re definitely not lounge-worthy, but great for conversation or watching TV for a bit. I probably wouldn’t want to sit in them for hours on end though. I hope that helps!
So beautiful, lovely work! Where did you get the basket for the faux palm and the shades in the king bedroom?
Thank you! It was a HomeGoods find!
What color paint did you use? I really like it!
Thank you! It’s actually the color that was already there and it’s called Sherwin Williams White Duck. We really like it!
Gorgeous. Can you tell me more about the blinds/window treatments?
Are the striped white bed linens a duvet? Love the Casita!!
