Hallway Paint: Progress Shots

The hallway painting continued two weekends ago {I had last worked on painting this area here}. But because we left town this past weekend, I haven’t made any further progress so I thought I would show you some progress shots.

I first broke out the ladders and got two coats of paint done on the wall of windows up to the upper windows’ bottom ledge {shown on the right in the photo below}. It has already made such a huge impact in this area and I think you can really see the dramatic difference in between the windows and that upper part I painted to. Next, I will need to break out the two story ladder and attack the wall you see in the center and the remaining areas around the upper windows. Not fun.

I then went upstairs and continued along the wall outside of the queen guest bedroom near the chalk paint table. I finished that wall as well, but don’t have an after shot. Here are the areas I’m referring to.

Once we’re back from vacation I plan to tackle the remaining hallway areas. It finally feels like I’m starting to make some good progress! The Behr Castle Path is the perfect neutral in these spaces.
