Fall Home Tour: Part II

Home Tour

Last week I shared part I of  my fall home tour. Today I’m back to share even more spaces with you, with a crazy talented group of ladies as part of the Simply Fall Home Tours!

If you’re new around here or stopping in from the lovely Randi Garrett Design, welcome! I’m Sarah and I live in Omaha, NE. My approach to fall this year was one of simplicity. My husband and I completed our dream backyard makeover this summer, so I haven’t exactly been eager to jump into any new projects or major decorating overhauls. With that being said, I’ve added in some textures and warmth for the cooler months ahead. But still, no pumpkins.

Welcome to our home!

Our entryway gets so much natural light as you walk down the hallway. But, because the space is long and narrow it can be a bit challenging to decorate. My favorite piece is my Doxology canvas and I tend to decorate around it every season!

I tend to keep our kitchen fairly clutter and decor-free. But, I recently added a vase to the countertops in our kitchen with some faux dried sunflowers I recently picked up at Pottery Barn. I’m not able to find them online, but you may be able to find them in a local store. I love sunflowers but felt a bold yellow would be a bit too much in our home this year, so I’m loving this dried, subtle version! The buffalo check tea towels were from the dollar section at Target!

Because I’m still in denial the summer is coming to a close, I’ve left elements of our summer decor in the living room, but added in my favorite velvet pillows and some other warm touches and textures to make it looking slightly less summery.

Our dining room continues the fig leaf and buffalo check you can find in many of the other rooms in our home. The dining room chairs are under construction, so I didn’t take a full room shot.

This past week was an exciting one for my home office! Not only did we hang our new light (hint: there’s also a killer giveaway), but we also hung my new Lindsay Letters abstract art! Slowly but surely, the office update is getting closer to completion. Are giant pineapples really fall-like? No, but I still love them so much I refuse to remove them.

I recently made a few pillow swaps for fall in our guest bedroom as well. I’m loving that more saturated blues and greens, along with the addition of one of our fiddle leaf figs.

I hope you enjoyed part II of our fall home tour!

Now, be sure to stop by the next tour. My friend Jen at Decor Gold Designs has such a stunning home (her kitchen is one of my favorites ever) and she is so sweet. Once you’re done there, be sure to check out all of the other stops on this one-day tour!

Lovely! I looked through past posts, but can’t seem to find out – did you paint your cabinets? If so, what color did you use? I am thinking of having mine done and want to use an off white. Yours are very nice! Thanks 🙂

Thank you so much! And the Doxology canvas is from Lindsay Letters. It should be linked as well to the direct product if that helps. 🙂

Sarah, I just love your home! I adore your approach to fall and all of the lovely touches you added. The contrast in your home is stunning and I love your new light fixture! I was eyeing that one for a while but I didn’t think it fit the room I was looking for. And I was right! It definitely looks striking and gorg with that navy wall behind it! Well-done!!! xoxo….
