Entry Light

I think I have found “the one” to replace the entry light – the inspiration found here. I’m just deciding which knock-off to purchase and which finish to go with. I am leaning towards the Overstock version because it has four lights (as opposed to Pottery Barn’s two and Lowe’s three – I always go for more light).

The original: Clarissa Glass Drop Chandelier from Pottery Barn – $399:

Style Selections 3-Light Antique Bronze Crystal Chandelier from Lowe’s – $179:

Cone Shape 4-light Antique Copper Crystal Chandelier from Overstock – $184.99 {but I always have coupons for 7-12% off} – the silver version is currently out of stock but it looks like they will be getting more:

I took a few shots this morning for you to see how the entry is seen from the main hallway. The goal is to take this home from an art & crafts/mission style to more of a light & bright Cape Cod casual but glam – which I think will be easy, given that all the trim is already white {vs. dark wood}. Do you think this light will work in the entry, given my long-term goal for orb chandeliers overhead {and who-knows-what for sconces?}

And one of my famous PhotoShop mock-ups to include the light and with the walls “painted” Pale Silver by Restoration Hardware. The sconces I put on the wall are from Lowe’s:

Overall thoughts for the entry light? The reviews online are excellent for both knock-off versions, but again, I am leaning towards the Overstock one given it has four lights. What do you think – for half the price are these close enough to the real deal? Look for something entirely different? I know I want a chandelier look, but I have to be cautious of the clearance underneath. I think this one will work well!
