I have created the cutest wall ever, stripes!  I love to paint so this project was perfect for me.

Okay, it may be tied for first place with the striped wall made by Team Neider (website no longer active) since I basically copied every single thing she did {including paint color}.
This painting project is not for those with little patience {oh wait, that includes me}. The taping took much longer than I expected but it was worth putting in the extra time. My three week  project is now complete and I love how the painted stripes turned out! I feel like we are in a ritzy hotel or something. I still need to find cute stuff to hang over the bed or on the other walls but so far, I LOVE the paint! And much thanks to Jamie for all of your helpful hints for a stranger!
BEFORE:  The bedroom wall that is bare.

A beige bedroom before being painted.

DURING {check out my sweet hair}:

Blue painters tape on the wall before painting the stripes.

FINAL RESULT {I need to remember to take some photos during daylight hours too}:  The show stopping stripes painted on the wall!
The painted stripes on the wall.

Yes – they are Behr’s Castle Path (the lighter color) and Garden Wall (the darker stripe).
