Christmas Nights Tour

Christmas, Home Tour

I have a really fun, mellow tour lined up for you today. I’ve teamed up with Rachel at Maison de Pax and some of my favorite bloggers to bring you the nighttime tour of our home. If you want to see our Christmas home tour during the day, be sure to check out this post. But for now, it’s a Christmas Nights Tour!

Christmas nights home tour

So, settle in with a warm drink, turn on O Holy Night, Silent Night or Christmas carol of your choosing and come see our home in an all new way! I’ll try to keep the words to a minimum for this one.

Christmas lights are one of my favorite parts of the season. I love to sit in any of the rooms in our home with the lights off, and only the glow of the Christmas lights to lead the way. There’s something so magical about the glow on cold winter nights! For this tour, I only used the Christmas lights to light each room – there is no overhead lighting on at all so you can truly get a feel for the spaces at night. I should also note that I didn’t go to any extra effort to change things up for the tour – just our house with Christmas lights as we see it each night. Welcome to our home!

Rounding the corner to my office, I still have plenty of gifts to wrap, but I think the tree helps distract from that! This is pretty much the only light I work by throughout the entire month of December as I sit at my computer blogging. Not a bad view!

Heading back down the hallway, the living room tree alone can light up the entire space!

Those wreaths you see on the right are the first thing we see when we come home at night, as we enter the house from the garage into our mudroom.

As we head into the living room, you can see the lights from the tree, wreaths, garland and our fireplace are enough to light the room.

The Christmas season is one of the few times I don’t mind laying on the couch with a blanket and watching some TV with my husband. I think the coziness of the room and all the lights just sucks me in! The warm fire doesn’t hurt either.

Thank you all for stopping by on my Christmas Nights Tour! For more beautiful, fairy-light inspiration, visit all these amazing bloggers throughout the week!
