Can you believe it is already that time of year to start making Christmas lists? Crazy but true. We draw names on my husband’s side around Thanksgiving and I have had to focus and start coming up with some ideas. Here are some cool items I have found that may help you out with your shopping and I have found are helping me make my list for both sides of the families. Please note: this is not my official list ~ just some fun ideas that may or may not make the official cut! 🙂
This one will likely make at least one of my lists: Echo Touch gloves. I learned this the hard way – touch-screen phones do NOT work with gloves on. It is really awful in the winter when you have to take your gloves off to get your phone to work. These gloves must be magic because they do work, and at around $25-42 it is worth keeping your fingers warm!
Winter in Nebraska is awful. I never hated winters until I moved here. The wind and freezing temps are just unbearable and last winter I survived thanks to my sister-in-law’s recommendation and testimonial for Uggs. I am now a believer and hope to get a third pair this year. Looks aside, they are by far the warmest and comfiest shoes ever. These and these in gray {and really these – although I can’t afford them} are the ones I have my eye on now:
I am also in the market for a new camera strap – mine is totally shredded and has seen better days thanks to so much use. Etsy always has great options. I am eyeing ones like this but question whether the husband will approve if he has to take pictures 🙂
My nook cover has seen better days too, even though it is only a year old. I use my nook at least an hour or two a day so I figure this is a wise investment. I would love a cute Kate Spade version but will more realistically opt for something like this {which I think is equally as cute}.
I have also been wanting a fun/cute passport cover for some time. Mine has fortunately been getting some use lately {and will hopefully see more use come February} and I think there are such great ideas out there. Love the Kate Spade versions with the cute sayings.
I am also a freak for cute post-its and memo pad. Could these be any cuter? They would make a darling stocking stuffer for only $12 for the set of three.
I have needed a business card holder for ages and love the bright colors of this one:
And lastly, there is always the gift card option which works well for me. The husband has lately been having “fun” trying to spend as little money as possible each month. It is like a competition to see how low we can go. Although it is probably a smart game, it just isn’t any fun. So, gift cards would definitely assist in this area! Here are some good ideas:
- J.Crew
- Pottery Barn
- Barnes & Noble
- Lowe’s
- Restoration Hardware
Happy shopping. Christmas is rapidly approaching!
