Christmas Home Tour with Country Living

Christmas, Home Tour

I’m so excited this day is here! Now that it’s December 1st, I feel like it’s “officially” okay to start sharing our Christmas decor. I have three more tours lined up next week, but today I’ll be sharing several of our spaces that are already finished up. This really is my favorite time of year, and I absolutely love decorating for Christmas!

Today I’m joining our lovely hostess Ashley, of Cherished Bliss, along with Country Living, to share my Christmas home tour. I think it snowed yesterday just so I could take a pretty snow-covered shot of the exterior of our home. Welcome!

If I had to pick a word to describe this year’s Christmas decor I would sum it up as “plaid”. Not necessarily coordinating plaids, but every room has a touch of plaid or tartan and I love it all!

This year in our entryway, I opted for a fresh cedar garland. It is messy but it sure is beautiful! The garland is accented by black and white with touches of red.

Moving into the living room, I stuck with the plaid theme, but overall, it was fairly neutral with navy, dark green and metallic neutrals.

In the kitchen, I like to keep things simple, but I do love to hang a boxwood wreath over our range.

Upstairs in the guest bedroom, I used all the red plaid items we had in our living room last year. I am loving the injection of color in this space now!

That concludes my Christmas home tour so far! I’ll be back next week with three more home tours that will show more areas in our home, so be sure to stop back!

Next up on the Cherished Bliss and Country Living home tour is Yellow Bliss Road. Be sure to stop by there next!

I love, love, love all the greenery! And the different plaids are perfectly preppy and wintery and just plain pretty in a very un-precious way. So lovely and cozy 🙂

These are beautiful rooms. It can often be the little things like the great pillows in these photos, that make a big difference.

    Blessings,
    Elizabeth
