Christmas Home Tour: Entryway & Kitchen

Christmas, Home Tour

Welcome to day two of my Christmas home tour (be sure to also check out our living room and dining room if you missed them)! Today I’ve teamed up with my friend Krista from The Happy Housie along with another set of talented bloggers, to share our Christmas entryway and kitchen.

Welcome to our Christmas home! This year, throughout most of our home, I went with a traditional red plaid theme. However, in my office (which you can get a sneak peek of off to the left in the photo below) I kept things blue and green, my favorite decor colors. So, as you initially enter our home, I stayed with the blue and green colors. The ‘It Is Well’ canvas in the stairwell remains up year-round and is my favorite piece of artwork in our home.

The wall colors are Behr Castle Path and the door is Behr Elephant Skin. I’m sharing the affiliate links to all the other sources in the entryway below!

This little nook at the base of our staircase is always a bit tricky to decorate (and even more difficult to photograph) but I like to always add a bit of a festive touch here when I can!

Walking straight down the entryway from our front door, we have this long hallway that leads to our living room, dining room and kitchen. It gets so much natural light and is always so fun to decorate! The Doxology canvas is also from Lindsay Letters, and is a year-round staple.

The stars and wool blanket are from Kirkland’s and the faux cedar and the nativity scene are from Hobby Lobby. You can find the other items below.

Moving down the hallway into our kitchen, I added a bit of color and some additional Christmas decor. My favorite of which, is the wood Merry Christmas sign from The Summery Umbrella!

I hung a wreath over our stove with a 3M hook and I love the green over our backsplash.

Hi Sarah – You do such beautiful work! I wonder if you will answer a question about your dining chairs. I am considering ordering them. Are the slipcovers completely removable and washable? Are the chairs very comfortable — like “wanting to linger around the table” comfortable? Thanks, I really appreciate it! It’s so difficult ordering a bigger-ticket item without being able to see it in person and try it out.

Love all of it, Sarah! I could recognize your entryway anywhere. I want to steal that big piece of word art in your hallway though. 😉
