It’s Christmas home tour week! Today I’ve teamed up with the lovely Marty from A Stroll Thru Life, along with thirty-three other bloggers, to share the first part of my 2016 Christmas home tour. If you’re stopping in from Common Ground, welcome! Wasn’t Debra’s tour beautiful?
I have several home tours lined up this season (including two yet this week), so rather than get redundant on the tours, I’ll be breaking them each up by various rooms in our house. Today I’ll be sharing our Christmas living room and dining room!

This year, I opted to gold bold with my Christmas colors, along with lots of plaid and buffalo check. In our living room and dining room, I went with traditional Christmas red. Although I never use red in my decor otherwise, it feels so cheerful and fresh at Christmas time! My ‘O Holy Night’ canvas looks perfect with my DIY Christmas Card Holder, even in it’s current bare state. The wreaths on the windows are a favorite addition that I see us using year after year! I’m constantly burning my all-time favorite holiday scent these days too!
Our dining room recently received a fairly major overhaul and I couldn’t be happier with how it turned out! It’s so pretty dressed up for Christmas, as well! The ‘O Come Let us Adore Him’ canvas from Lindsay Letters adds the perfect graphic punch to our otherwise traditional space.
Thank you so much for stopping by! I hope you enjoyed the first part of our Christmas home tour!
Be sure to also check out my Christmas entryway and kitchen tours!
The next stop is Decor To Adore. Laura owns a beautiful Spanish Colonial home and has it all dressed up for the holidays! Once you stop by her tour, be sure to check out all the other stops on the tour!

May I ask where your dining room rug is from? Is it soft? Thinking of something like this for a living room but not sure if it would be soft enough for little ones to play on.
Sarah says
Thank you! Here’s the direct link to the rug: http://rstyle.me/n/bd7ruz75re. It’s actually pretty soft because of the chenille woven into it. Much softer than a traditional jute or sisal rug. I actually thought it was pretty cozy!
