California Modern Farmhouse Home Tour

This beautiful California modern farmhouse home tour has many stunning details that I wanted to share with you.Four pictures on the wall in black frames, flanked by two floor lamps and a wooden cabinet in between them.

A few weeks back, I had the privilege of photographing a local 2018 Omaha Street of Dreams home for my friend Nancy, owner of Pearson & Company. She’s one of my favorite local designers and the home she designed did not disappoint! The style is California Modern Farmhouse, and every detail is perfection! I found the home and details so inspiring and wanted to share more of it with you today!

Some additional details on the home:

Interior Design: Pearson & Company

Builder: Landmark Performance Homes

Price: From the $400s to low $800s

Finished Square Footage: 5,260

Although the Street of Dreams is now over so you can’t view the home in person any longer, I’m happy to report that this home won Best Interior Design this year!

A few things to note before we jump into this home tour! I’ve included some ‘get the look’ items along the way to help you achieve a similar look in your own home. However, if you want to purchase a specific item seen in the tour, please reach out to Nancy (you can also email her at nancy@pearsonandcompany.com) to order. The main paint color used throughout the home is Sherwin Williams City Loft and the flooring is an engineered white oak, but we do not have the brand. I hope you enjoy the tour!

This is the only exterior shot I got was while I was there, as there were still a lot of work vans in front of the house before the show opened. But here’s a general of idea of the beautiful curb appeal!

The outside of the home which is large with many windows. There is grass out front a small tree as well.

The entry way is filled with bright light and gorgeous beams! Such a great entrance!

The entryway with a glass door which is open and a small area rug in white and black inside.

This is one of my favorite views in the entire home!

Gorgeous California Modern Farmhouse with white oak harwood floors, reclaimed wood beams, black doors and windows and metal staircase.

Metal staircase with a shiplap stair well and oversized abstract artwork.

A beautiful natural wood buffet table styled with black lamps and preserved boxwoods with an oversized round brass mirror.

As you head through the entryway, your greeted by this gorgeous living room! Although some of the features lean more towards a modern style, the room still feels warm and cozy! It was one of my favorite spaces in the entire home!

A neutral living room with white couches, a mirror on the wall and large green plants in wicker pots.

The chandelier made such a perfect graphic statement against the ceiling! It all tied together so well!

A California Modern Farmhouse from the 2018 Omaha Street of Dreams. I love the combination of natural wood beams with modern details like the sputnik chandelier and graphic black and white artwork. The linen sofa is accented with black and white mudcloth pillows.

A light linen sofa with black and white mudcloth pillows, striped tassel pillows, and windowpane patterns. Black and white graphic artwork and the large collection of green aspen leaves!

The kitchen is just off the living room and is clean, light and bright! I loved how the beams were continued into the space to add some warmth. The large white kitchen island with waterfall edges was beautiful!

Kitchen island with a bowl of cement pears, and glass sliding doors just off the kitchen.

I was just a bit obsessed with the cement pears in the large dough bowl on the island.

A California modern farmhouse kitchen with waterfall island and wood barstools. I love the natural wood beams on the ceiling and the industrial metal light pendants.

The kitchen also led out onto a large deck for outdoor entertaining.

Large white kitchen with wood beams and a white island.

The dining space is off the kitchen and I love the clean and simple look!

A small dining room table with white chairs and green clear glass on the table.

Right behind the dining space is this cute room designed for homework or as a second office.

A desk with three chairs in a small room.

A desk and chairs in the room with a picture of the morse code on the wall.

The office is right off the entryway, and I love the over-sized board and batten treatment installed on the walls!

Oversized olive green board and batten walls are accented with gold and black details. The linen wingback chair pairs perfectly with the wood desk!

The view from the desk is a stunner too!

The view from the office into the hallway of the house.

There is also a cute powder bath on the main level, between the garage and main entryway. The board and batten treatment was carried in here as well.

Let’s head upstairs! The staircase was a work of art! It connects all three levels and when you look down from the top, you can see all the way to the basement!

Metal staircase with a metal modern chandelier at the top of the staircase.

View from the staircase down the stairs to the bottom of many levels.

I always love Nancy’s use of gorgeous oversized abstract art in all of her homes she designs!

Light wooden floors down the hallway of the upper level of the house.

There are three kids rooms on the upper level.

White bedroom with white headboard and white and gray bedding. Gold light fixture and a small wooden bench at the foot of the bed.

Wooden dresser with green topiary on top.

I love the simple, unfussy way they were all styled! Each of the bedrooms had an adjoining bathroom.

A white bedroom with wooden side table and white lamps on them. Three green wreaths above the bed.

A close up view of the three mossy green wreaths above the bed.

The boys’ bedroom is simple and classic.

A darker framed bed with headboard, purple curtains and a white light fixture above the bed in the boys room.

A dark wooden dresser and eggplant purple curtains in the boys room.

The master bedroom was very spacious and had it’s own area to watch TV. I love all the neutral decor accented by those beautiful black windows!

Master bedroom in a white neutral color with a white sofa in the middle of the room.

A white bed, neutral couch and a black chandelier in master bedroom.

A large window with white curtains in the master bedroom.

These wood tripod lamps are my new favorite!

Wooden stand up lamps in master bedroom.

The master bathroom was spacious with tons of natural light!

A white marble floor in master bedroom with white cabinets.

The laundry room was connected to the main hallway upstairs, as well as access through the master bedroom closet. The navy blue cabinets were beautiful!

The upper level also has a bonus room between the master bedroom and the hallway leading to the other bedrooms.

A bonus playroom/tv room on the upper floor of the house.

I loved the more relaxed and casual vibe of the space!

A gray/purple couch in bonus room with a white and black rug.

As you go down to the basement, the bar area was the main focus. I love how Nancy decorated with unique, vintage wooden bowls on the shelves!

I hope you enjoyed this home tour as much as I did! Have a great weekend!

What an incredible house. But, as a Californian, what caught my eye was the price! I had to laugh as you are not going to begin to purchase anything of the quality of this house in California for anything under a couple of million or maybe more depending on location. Oh to have a house like this!!!
