Blue and Green Thanksgiving Tablescape & A Dining Room Sneak Peek

Take some inspiration from my beautiful blue and green Thanksgiving tablescape. I’m also sharing a sneak peek of my updated dining room!

Dining room table with green plates and a blue and white runner. The centerpiece is a white and green vase with green leaves in it.

Can you believe it’s already November next week? The fall is flying by . Today, I’ve teamed up with an incredibly talented group of bloggers and stylists, hosted by Lory from DesignThusiasm, to share some Thanksgiving entertaining inspiration. You’ll see everything from helpeful tips, beautiful tablescapes to delicious recipes you’ll want to include this year at your Thanksgiving get-togethers!

Simple Thanksgiving Table Decorations

Today I’m sharing a simple, yet beautiful Thanksgiving tablescape. And as an added bonus, that means you get to see a sneak peek of the progress I’ve made in our dining room for the One Room Challenge!

As the holidays approach, and life tends to get more and more hectic, I prefer simplicity wherever and whenever possible. That includes my simple holiday tablescapes. Not only do they help with stress levels, but it leaves plenty of room for the food – which is typically the real star of the party!

I find that by the time Thanksgiving rolls around, I’m ready for a bunch of neutrals before all the colors that come with Christmas decor. However, this year, I decided to inject a bit of bold blue and green in the mix for something a bit different!

I picked up two woven blue and cream runners from HomeGoods a few weeks ago (they still had them in stock last time I checked). They have a bit more of a boho flair than I would typically be drawn too, but I loved the texture and warmth they added for fall!

A Little Peek Of Our Dining Room

I couldn’t be more in love with our new dining table and linen chairs. They are exactly what I had always envisioned for the space and I can’t believe how much brighter the room already feels! I’ll be sharing even more photos over the coming weeks, so for now you just get a bit of a preview.

Acorn branches as a centerpiece, plus red wine in glasses on the table.

I set a very beautiful basic table with these Green plates on a wicker charger with name place tags on plates.Up close picture of the red wine and blue and white table runner.

The combination of earthy textures and colors I love. The overall vibe is casual yet polished, colorful yet warm and comforting.

I hope you enjoyed my simple blue and green Thanksgiving tablescape!

HI Sarah! Are those chairs comfortable? I’ve been thinking about a pair as head chairs for my dining room.

    Thanks,
    Debbie

Sorry – just saw your question! So, I’ve really only sat in the chairs for short periods of time. We haven’t actually eaten in the room yet since it’s in makeover mode. But, I can say I think they are comfy so far. They cushion on the bottom is more like down than poly filled so I always think those are a lot nicer to sit on!
