…a project that is still not done! I honestly laughed when I read the directions to make the adorable ruffly felt wreath when she said it took 12-15 hours to make a 12 inch wreath. Granted, I upgraded to an 18 inch wreath but this project will likely take me 10 hours when all is said and done. Good thing it is turning out so cute! The worst part is tracing and cutting the circle. Just to give you an idea, I have already cut over 250 3-inch circles to get where I am so far. I figure it will end up requiring 375 total and a yard and a half of felt. I had really wanted to go with a moss green color, but unfortunately I had about 5 options at our fabric store, and white was the only possibility.
After being forced to stop this project, I moved on to starting my floral rosette bib necklace ~ also from this post. This project moves much quicker. Here are some practice rosettes I made today. I ended up following these directions for the rosettes but will use these once I make the necklace.
I then ironed the trellis window panels I picked up at Z Gallerie. They ended up being half off when I went to buy then so I splurged and bought two of the matching pillows {since I had always felt the one I had bought on Etsy was too little}. The pattern is VERY bold but I think it works out okay with the simple white bedding. The old sheer drapes matched the old black and white bedroom and did very little to block out the bright street light outside the window. These new panels are lined and are much heavier. I just hope it isn’t trellis overload! The fabric on the bench really clashes but I don’t see myself changing that out in the future!
Oh, and that empty frame you see in the back of all the guest room photos? That’s actually the frame the husband custom made for the main bathroom but it still hasn’t been warm enough for us to paint outside. Hopefully soon!
