Today is Kurtis’ 49th birthday so he has our day pretty well mapped out! It also happens to be Way Day, one of Wayfair’s biggest sales of the year. The sale starts today and runs through Monday with up to 80% off and free shipping, flash deal, and doorbusters! Today I want to share some of my favorite Wayfair coastal finds, many of which are on sale for Way Day, along with some of my top sale picks! It’s the perfect time for a little spring refresh.

The Way Day event includes up to 80% off area rugs, up to 65% off kitchen and dining furniture, up to 60% off bedroom furniture, up to 65% off mirrors and decor, and so much more! So many items in our carriage house can be found at Wayfair, including most of the items in our coastal dining nook.
A few Way Day sale items worth noting:
- I’ve had my eye on these nightstands for a while (the smaller version is here) and they’re a really great value right now! We’re likely using the larger version in our carriage house or guest bedroom. I just need to finalize the bed to know which color works best! But they look very high-end and I have several friends that own them and love them.
- The price on this viral upholstered bed is pretty incredible today! I love all the various fabric options you can select from. I just wish it took longer to ship so I could order at this price for our new house 😉
- We’re using this scalloped rattan mirror in the “cat bathroom” in the new house and can’t wait to see it with the fun patterned floor tile we’re using.
- We’re also using this vanity ($100 less than what I paid for it), this vanity (20% off) and this vanity (20% off) in our new house and they’re all on sale today!
Following are a few items we own and love that are also on sale!

We’ve had these swivel upholstered chairs for several years at Hola Beaches (one of our short-term beach rentals) and they’ve held up great! The price today is pretty incredible!
Both the rattan desk and striped dining chairs we have in our carriage house are on sale today, as well!

We’ve had this jute block print style rug for over three years now and love it! I’ve also used the same pattern in the Christmas tree skirt version because I love it so much!
Both our rope sofa/console table and ceramic lamps are on sale today! I love how narrow this table is, so you still have walking room behind furniture!

Nearly everything in the master bedroom at Hola Beaches Casita is on sale! And the blue upholstered bed has finally been restocked in the light blue and a really incredible price right now! I’m actually considering this similar striped version for one of the bedrooms at our new house.

I still think this white dining table is such an incredible value! I wouldn’t use it in a super high-traffic area, but it has been an incredible addition to our carriage house and has held up so well! The striped dining chairs and jute rug (comes in other shapes, sizes and colors) are also on sale!

Perhaps one of the Wayfair items we’ve owned the longest is this abstract beach art! It’s also one of the best values out there for the size! We put this version at Casita. The scalloped console table is only marked down a little today. This blue heron art we recently used in our guest bedroom is also on sale!

Sarah, thanks for this post on two of the items that I have been contemplating for our guest room, the nightstand and upholstered bed. I have been looking for an upholstered headboard or bed that can be used with a box spring. This product description says it requires a box spring but I don’t see it in the photos. Have you used one? Doesn’t it show above the upholstered frame? Thanks for helping me picture how this works! Since you’ve used it in a rental, what is your experience with the fabric?
Hi Debra! Glad the timing was good for you! Just to confirm, are you looking at the light blue upholstered bed we have at our rental? If so, we definitely did not use a box spring and I’m fairly certain it wouldn’t work great if you did until you used a very thin profile box spring and mattress. It has a slat frame that supports the mattress (its not a platform bed either). But maybe you meant one of the other ones I linked because the section I see says no box spring required. I hope that helps! That fabric has held up great though! I worry less about needing performance fabrics on beds – especially in guest rooms!
Thanks for your quick and helpful reply. I was actually referring to the Hanson wingback bed shown in the resource boxes at the bottom of your post. Good to know about the durability of the fabric you used in your rental.
We don’t own that one, but a few friends do. We’re considering it for our guest room. But that one definitely needs a box spring! It really depends on the height of your box spring and mattress, but ideally the box spring sits in the base frame and won’t stick out and then your matress will sit up enough to cover the height of the gap on the headboard. Hopefully that makes sense! The assembly instructions on their site make it a little easier to visualize. Without the box spring I’d worry that gap is too large behind the headboard. My friend has a 9″ box spring but honestly something smaller would maybe be ideal to cover the least amount of headboard. I have a lot of the fabric samples for that one on hand and really like the Talc! It’s not 100% linen but definitely gives the look for less. I hope that helps! I’m happy to answer any other questions!
