Home Tour

Today I’m sharing Part I of my summer home tour, and I’ll be back tomorrow with even more spaces to share with you! Today, I’ve teamed up with the lovely Marty at A Stroll Thru Life, along with a crazy talented group of ladies to bring you our tours. If you’re stopping in from Marty’s tour, welcome!

This post contains affiliate links for your shopping convenience. Click here to read my full disclosure policy.

If you’re new here, I’m Sarah – an insurance executive by trade but a home decor enthusiast and blogger pretty much any remaining time I have! My husband and I moved into our home about three and a half years ago and have been updating things room by room and I feel like we’re really close to where we ultimately want things! We’re currently building our dream backyard along with a pool (you can read the latest on the project here), and my summer home decor was certainly inspired by the changes out back!

Welcome to our home!

ENTRYWAY SOURCES: Doxology Canvas (Navy with Gallery Walnut Frame) | Bench (similar) | Console Table | Similar Lamp  | Wall Color: Behr Castle Path

This year, I went for an almost sun-bleached look with my favorite colors: blues, greens, neutrals and white. I am definitely loving the calming, beachy vibe these colors bring to the space. I’ve listed sources along the way, including paint colors.

The dining room stays fairly consistent from season to season, but I found some adorable square navy and white striped plates at HomeGoods recently that I had to dress up for summer!

The mud room is the first room we step into from the garage when we get home from work each night and it’s the last space we see when we leave each morning. Therefore, even though the space is still unfinished, I like to add a little character to make it feel a bit more polished. I found these navy and white palm prints at HomeGoods over the weekend and I’m loving the blue they bring into the space!

Our courtyard was one of the areas where I decided to take things quite a bit more saturated since it’s outdoors, but you can see I still stuck with the same overall  color scheme.

I love it! If I could rent a beach house to spend the summer in, I’d want it to look exactly like your home. So calming and refreshing. I especially love the living room and mud room pillow combos. You have such an eye for textiles. Can’t wait to see the pool results!

    Hello!

Pinterest brought me to your page in search of your bar cart! The link doesn’t work to find where it’s from, any chance you still have that information?

    Thank you!
