I also loved Home #4 but it was the one that did not allow photography. Which was a total bummer.

So, onto the next home I loved. You’ll quickly see I loved all the lighting selections in this Craftsman with Mid-Century Modern finishes. I also loved the open floorplan and really livable spaces. This kitchen and basement were also my favorites. The designer was the same as Home #2 {another favorite!} – Lee Douglas Interiors – so they may be my favorite for the show overall for designing two homes I loved. And actually, I seem to be sharing a lot more inspiration from this home than any of the others, so it may be declared a three-way tie 😉

Home #5 Builder: Nathan Homes LLC – Designer: Lee Douglas Interiors

5,082 Total Finished Square Feet: 6 Bedrooms, 4 Bathrooms, 1.5 Story

Price: $619,829 + Lot

The Office.
The master bedroom. Loved the light here.
Another cool light in the master bathroom.
The dining room. Not only did I love the light, I loved the navy velvet chairs {there were only two so I am assuming the rest didn’t come in on time?}
The kitchen. My photos of this space are pretty bad but I’m sure you can easily identify why I loved it.
I thought this girl’s bedroom upstairs was darling – and I’m sure a dream for many girls, with it’s pale pink walls, cloudy ceiling and a stage to perform on. Also a fun place for this IKEA chandelier!
This was another girls room I liked but it didn’t photograph well. It’s a little on the funky side but again, I’m sure another space that a kid would love.
As I mentioned, the basement was my favorite basement of the show. This is the bar, wine cellar, TV area. My husband tried to show me how classy it could be to have three TVs on one wall – and actually – I thought it looked perfect in this space.
I loved this little lounge area/game table space. The wall sculptures were amazing and I loved the leather chairs and oversized art work. In the second photo on the right-hand side, the sculptures camouflaged little windows that looked into the kid hideout under the stairs.
Basement living room area – this is really all one large area with the basement spaces shown above.
A basement bedroom serving as a craft/design room.
You’ll likely recognize immediately why I was drawn to this next basement bedroom. Not only were the walls striped, but the custom curtains were striped and lined up perfectly with the wall stripes. It added such a cool dimension to the room.
And that concludes this home’s mini-tour. I have one post left that will combine some of my favorite features of the last two homes in the show. If you missed Home #2 or Home #3, be sure to check those out as well! Has your favorite changed yet?
