Master Bedroom: Design Board

Room Makeovers + Design Plans

Sharing the master bedroom design board I created for our bedroom makeover.

This is my attempt at putting together a design board for our master bedroom. Originally I had planned to use this lovely fabric in our second guest bedroom {which may still happen} but lately I have been considering it for the master bedroom.

Various patterns and designs to be used in the master bedroom.

Everything has been purchased and our bed arrived about two weeks ago.  We recently had dark hardwood installed on our main floor and our old dark leather bed blended in too much.  The fabric has been accumulated from designers on close-out sales so I got great prices! With the Windsor Smith Pelagos, I have four yards, so I am trying to determine if I should do window coverings or Euro shams for the bed. Any thoughts would be appreciated.

Here are some inspiration photos that include this subtle fabric {click the image below to be taken to original source of photo}:

Soft blue and white floral pillows on the bed.

Various fabris in soft tones.

Due to the painstaking nature of the stripes on our bedroom wall, I am trying to avoid repainting at all costs {and I still love the stripes}. I think the hot house helps to tie the more beige colors in with the greyish colors.  Thoughts?

And for the record? I have created zero throw pillows so far.
