With the husband out of town, I watched The Holiday last night {for possibly the billionth time}. It made me remember how much I LOVE Amanda’s (Cameron Diaz’s character) house. Cote de Texas has an excellent post about the two homes. I am obsessed with the dark-paned windows and french doors as well as all of the decorating. The Mediterranean exterior is to die for. And I am definitely a sucker for that wing back headboard in her bedroom. I feel like all of these photos do not do the beauty of this home justice.
Did I mention this home is designed by Nancy Meyers who also did the sets on Something’s Gotta Give, It’s Complicated, & Father of the Bride, all homes I have loved in the past? If you haven’t seen the movie, I obviously recommend it. It is one of my all-time favorite chick flicks {although I’m pretty sure the husband loved it as well when I forced him to watch it a few years back}!
