Wednesday Watch List, An Announcement & Three Winners!

Welcome to this week’s Wednesday Watch List, where I share the items that captured my attention over the past week!

1 – You all know I’m a big fan of greenery around our home. However, with cats, sometimes faux is the only way to go if I want the plant to survive more than a day. I love these tips from Kelly at The Lilypad Cottage about how to make a faux plant look real. I actually own the greenery she used in the example so I can’t wait to give her advice a try!

2 – If we would ever buy an old fixer upper, this Spanish-style home remodel is exactly what I would want. The before and after’s are stunning.

3 – Last year I got asked multiple times about the string lights in our courtyard. Unfortunately, they sold out in a hurry but they are now back in stock online (and on sale!). If you’re looking for string lights I haven’t found any cheaper and they have been extremely durable – and now they come in four cord colors. The ambiance they create really can’t be beat. Highly recommended!

4 – Did you catch this laundry room makeover from JennaSue? So insanely good and you would never know this was a creepy basement space in its former life. I would probably want to do laundry all day if I had this gorgeous room. And that’s saying a lot! If you love her laundry room, be sure to check out her home tour. You know I’m a sucker for good before and afters, and she kills it every time.

5 – How ridiculously cute/awesome is this underwater camera?!  I think it would make an amazing, unique gift (think grads going on an upcoming trip) or a fun item to have on-hand for yourself. Plus it also comes in a more colorful option, as well, if that’s more your thing.  I own this semi-fancy underwater camera and love to use it even when I’m not swimming, if we’re doing something more adventurous (where I worry my nice camera may get damaged or broken}. But, I’ll likely also be adding this cute little guy to my collection because I love it (and the price) so much!
