Welcome to this week’s Wednesday Watch List, where I share the random things that captured my attention and stole my heart over the past week!

1 – I recently subscribed to a handful of magazines that have more of a Southern coastal spin. I still find flipping through magazines much more enjoyable than scrolling Pinterest these days. I came across this home in Southern Home magazine and was glad to see they shared it online as well. Granted, it’s a Christmas tour, but there are so many beautiful details in the home! The item that really caught my eye is that gorgeous paneled enclosure covering the TV over the fireplace. It folds open when you’re watching TV, but otherwise can conceal the screen. Such a gorgeous idea! I also love the two-toned/colorblocked four poster bed in the bedroom. Such a unique way to update a piece that may feel a bit tired otherwise!
2 – Not exactly a “fashion” item like I typically have in spot #2, but these ear mitts are too good not to mention. And you technically wear them 😉 My mom introduced us to these in Jackson Hole over Thanksgiving. She uses them on her hikes in the Utah mountains or on walks with her dog. But we immediately knew we needed them for bike riding! I love that there isn’t a band that has to go over your head (big head problems over here). They also work well with my helmet, since they just pop over each ear! Even on days that aren’t super cold, they’re great for keeping the wind out too. I wear the regular size, and unless you have very small ears, I’m guessing that size works best for most adults.
3 – One of my favorite vases of all time, now comes in this gorgeous white color in addition to the original black version! Not only that it comes in three different sizes, so there’s one for virtually any space! I ordered mine last week and can’t wait for it to arrive. I tend to only use my black one in the fall and winter months, so I’m excited to have one that can be used year-round!
Here’s a look at the black version at Christmas time.
4 – If you have a rug that tends to slip, I just started using these rug grippers and have been super happy with them! They take about ten seconds to apply and have worked great for our dining room rug but also on runners. Our dining room rug kept curling on the edges in a particularly high-traffic spot, and this was the best solution I’ve found. It hasn’t budged since!
5 – If you’ve had your eyes on the Serena & Lily Hughes dining chair, I’ve found a pretty great look for less option at Walmart! S&L actually has 20% off most furniture (along with free shipping) right now, making theirs a little more affordable, but the look for less also looks like a great alternative! There’s nearly a $520 difference per chair at regular price! You all know I’m a huge Serena & Lily fan, and I do think the quality of everything I own from there is excellent, but I also know it’s not always in everybody’s budget. So I’m loving all these affordable alternatives that have been launching recently! They also offer the save version here on Amazon, but only have three left in stock!
