Welcome to this week’s Wednesday Watch List, where I share the random things that captured my attention and stole my heart over the past week!

1 – This New England condo retreat tour is full of unexpected patterns and an overall vibe that just feels “collected”. It’s a fun departure from what I usually share, but I think so many of the spaces are beautiful and very well-done! Very cozy feeling!
2 – I don’t really want to think about fall yet, but I basically want one of everything in the new collection from J. Crew Factory! There are so many cute new finds and they’re a great mix of transitional pieces for late summer and early fall! 3 – How great are these scalloped bath mats?! I not only love the color offerings, but they also come in two sizes, one of which is essentially a runner length! Perfect in front of a longer vanity or tub. They also currently have some fun scalloped pillow shams available, as well.
4 – If you’re a fan of hydrangeas, you may love this fresh hydrangea candle as much as I do! My godmother surprised me with a few earlier this summer and the candle smells so much like my Incrediball hydrangeas when they first started blooming! Heavenly! There are also some other candle styles, diffusers, potpourri and aroma cards here if you want to try the scent in another style!
5 – This rattan wrapped cabinet is stunning, and reminds me so much of the Balboa collection at Serena & Lily! Given it’s size, I think it could be used in so many different way (they also have a smaller version in a gray wash here). I also think this navy and cane cabinet could be really beautiful, too, especially in a pair! It reminds me a lot of this gorgeous designer sideboard! Your recommendations have always been spot on (my chandelier and a few favorite clothes I own are thanks to you) so I really want to get the smart shades you recommend. The price is so steep though. Have you ever seen them go on sale? We need a lot, although I’m trying to figure out for which windows we don’t NEED the automatic features.

Hi Caroline! So sorry I missed this comment previously. I honestly haven’t watched the prices much on the shades because I haven’t needed them again, but I can definitely start watching them. They are definitely pricey so I wouldn’t recommend using them in every room. We’ve found we appreciate them post in areas where you need shades but it may be hard to manually reach them to adjust or places like the living room where you may be hanging out and don’t want to get up to adjust if the sun changes. My brother and sister-in-law also ordered some for their bedroom and love them there. I know there are other brands now on the market that are similar as well, but since most of our lights are on the Lutron system I haven’t dug into those as much so don’t know if they’re comparable or not. I’ll plan to watch for any sales over the coming months and be sure to share if I see any. I hope that helps!
