1 – I’ve seen this desk makeover everywhere this past week, and for some random {or not so random} reason, I want to paint something this shade of mint green. It is so perfect with the gold hardware. Definitely against my normal styles, but I just can’t get this out of my head! My creative wheels are spinning as to how I can add this color somewhere in our home. Like, wouldn’t it be cute if I had a mint green cat?! I kid. Sort of.

2 – I went to dinner last night with Mandy from Mandy & Such. Seriously. If you’re not already following her blog and her Instagram, you are missing out. Last night was our second “blog date” and I love her even more than after our first date. We claim to be the only two bloggers in Nebraska which we knows isn’t entirely true, but sometimes it feels like it! She is so genuine, stylish, talented, funny, relatable…I could go on for ages. Just follow her. You won’t be disappointed!

3 – I came across this tiny bathroom makeover this week from You Paid More Than Me and I absolutely loved it! Such a perfect example of creativity and a tight budget that co-mingled to make an beautiful space! And you’ll be shocked what those countertops are made of…

4 – Does anyone have this skirt?  I stumbled upon it on Pinterest and I really love this entire look – but I know pencil skirts can be hard to wear. If you’ve ordered it, I’d love to hear how it fits. I’m really contemplating buying it!

5 – Yes, I may have an unhealthy obsession with Lindsay Letters, but whatever. This print spoke to me this week, and now I really need it.

Have a great rest of the week! I’ll be back tomorrow with either more of the Salt Lake Parade of Homes or and update to our powder bath. It will be a surprise 😉 Don’t forget about the designer fabric sale in progress until Sunday at midnight – lots of beautiful fabrics remaining!

I love Mandy’s blog too! I found her through you a couple months ago, so thank you! I also love that mint desk and now I am rethinking my entire plan for my home office, gah! The hubs is going to kill me!

I’m a fellow Omahan working in the financial industry, photographer and am addicted to DIY. Love your blog so please keep the inspiration coming! I have a piece of furniture to refinish but keep rethinking my colors now! I think I need to track down this skirt also. Gorgeous!

That is so funny b/c I was just so inspired by that makeover that I am using Country Chic Paint’s Refreshed color to do the same thing! My gold hardware is in the mail now! 🙂

Love your list this week! I’ve been thinking about that Shabby Apple skirt, too. I like the full length one as well, but would get so much more use out of the pencil skirt. Other Shabby Apple skirts I have owned have run large, but I’m not sure if that is a regular thing for them. I may just have to get this! Love it with the denim shirt, too. XO

I’m obsessed with the mint green as well. I have some plain tabletops from Ikea that I’m using in my office as a desk that are screaming to be painted. I also have an unused dresser that needs a makeover.
