Welcome to this week’s Wednesday Watch List where I share random things that have been on my mind throughout the week. This may be the most random list yet. And it includes far more purple tones than I’m comfortable with, but we’re rolling with it.

– This gorgeous gray & white kitchen is the direction I think I’ll be taking our kitchen. White cabinetry, medium-toned gray island, look-alike marble countertops, interesting backsplash, silver pendants, and blue & green accents. Perfection!
– I ordered this dress mid-December for our cruise in the Que Syrah color and loved it so much I just ordered the other two colors available {Charcoal Heather and In The Navy} for some additional upcoming trips we have. The dress is really casual and comfortable – works great as a sundress. I ordered the size medium. It doesn’t fit me quite like the model {for obvious reasons} but also because I’m taller {5’8″}. I feel like the waist sits a little high on me and is much more stretched height-wise so there isn’t as much ruching, but I still like how it fit and the length was perfect. Plus the jersey fabric packs like a dream and never looks wrinkled. Highly recommended! My pose is a little odd and the fabric is flipped weird around the waist but this is the only picture I had of me wearing the dress on the cruise.
– Maybe you all are aware of this amazingness, but my sister-in-law requested and received this scarf from my parents for Christmas. And I fell in love and wondered why it wasn’t also on my Christmas list. It’s a bit pricey as far as scarves are concerned but between the snaps and the length, there are literally a billion ways to wear this thing. Okay, maybe not really, but close. There’s even a video to show you how! My SIL got this purple version and I would likely go with the light blue {shocker}. The fabric is amazingly soft. NEED!
– I ended up buying this soundtrack after it turns out I had bought half of the songs individually not realizing they were all on the same soundtrack. I’m pretty obsessed with Lorde’s Yellow Flicker Beat and Jennifer Lawrence’s The Hanging Tree. Heck, I even left the theater singing that one. So many good songs on this one.
– Talk about a random item, but this remote extender has been “life-changing”. My husband’s words, not mine. Obviously. But, actually it really has been life-changing for us. My husband is happy because he can change the TV channel from several rooms in our house {without directly point to the cable box}. And now, I don’t have to worry if my throw pillows are in his way, blocking the remote control’s ability to change the channel. It’s really a win-win for everyone. Even more-so now that I can hide our cable box far away and the remote will still work! It really is the little things in life 😉
