Welcome to this week’s Wednesday Watch List, where I share the random things that captured my attention and stole my heart over the past week!

1 – Now that New Year’s is over, can we go back to summer? I’m only 5% kidding. This gorgeous home tour has me ready for all things spring and summer, yet the fresh vibe works all year round! I love all the white in combination with those black iron windows and doors. So beautiful!

2 – How perfect are these striped baskets with leather handles?! They’re labeled as laundry baskets but I could see them used for a variety of reason and in various rooms. A fun and pretty way to get organized for the new year! I also loved this taller navy striped basket (it also comes in three other colors).

3 – I get asked all the time about where I found my fiddle leaf figs. Unfortunately I found them from a local nursery, so it doesn’t do much good for most of my readers. BUT, I just found fresh ones from a reputable source. They’re on the smaller side but are fairly affordable!

4 – I shared this black and gold sconce on my Facebook page the other day, and people loved it. So, rather than wait until my next lighting look for less post, I thought I’d share it on the blog today. The light is 77% off and is crazy affordable. I love that it can be used as either a sconce or a ceiling light thanks to the adjustable arm. It would look so chic in a bathroom or kitchen or even a cool basement bar area. So many options!

5 – I’ve been obsessed with all things African Mud Cloth for the past year and it feels like they are starting to go a bit mainstream (even Pottery Barn is carrying the look now with their shibori line). I found this Etsy shop that has some really beautiful offerings! Some of my dearest blogging friends got me an authentic African mud cloth last fall for my birthday and I’m still deciding if I keep it whole for a throw or cut it down into throw pillows.

If your mud cloth is not too large, you could also frame it as a piece of art. I have had one for 15 years that I framed in a black ethnic style frame. People always comment on it and love it. Just a thought.

So which local nursery??? Mulhalls? I am looking to add some happy greenery to my house ASAP. I’m hoping it will help me ignore this 6 degree weather we are having!

Haha! Sorry. I got one at Mulhall’s a few years back but I’ve had the best luck at Lanoha lately. Theirs were actually cheaper than Mulhall’s last I checked, too 🙂 I have two from there. You can find them in the greenhouse section on the far left when you walk in!
