Welcome to this week’s Wednesday Watch List, where I share the random things that captured my attention and stole my heart over the past week!
1 – I don’t know what it is about the holidays, but I suddenly crave rustic spaces. This gorgeous, modern and rustic mountain home is so beautiful all dressed up for Christmas!
2 – I’m loving these lighted trees (Restoration Hardware has had similar ones in years past). They come in two sizes and three colors (gold, silver and white). They’re currently 40% off so I’m hoping to get some for next year!
3 – This milk frother is my latest favorite purchase. I love reading other bloggers’ favorite things posts, and my friend Charlotte recommended it. It’s super affordable and seriously makes the best frothed milk for your coffee or hot chocolate. Kurtis kinda thought it was crazy I bought it and didn’t get the point, but he’s obsessed now too.
4 – I’m buying these cheap and chic festive drink stirrers for New Year’s and any other time I feel like being festive.
5 – If you follow me on Instagram and have watched any of my stories, you know that my craft room has gotten insanely bad out of control. With the holidays I literally just dumped all of my regular decor in there. It’s in desperate need of an intervention and I’m thinking of getting this Besta storage unit to not only hold our TV but all of my decor crap I’m not using. I like this particular version because the trim reminds me of the board and batten in our house. Do any of you have one? Are you happy with it? I need for it to hold our TV so I can start working out again, store all my weights and DVDs, AND hold most of this decor. Here’s the current situation that needs desperate help.

I have several Bestas throughout my house, my office (where I used a shorter unit as a bench to sit on), as a buffet in my open kitchen/dining room, and as a media center in my family room. So much customizable storage! You can buy custom legs on Etsy or prettypegs.com to replace the ones available at IKEA. Also, a tip someone told me at IKEA – The Stuva line there is just a deeper unit of the Besta. Bestas are only 15 inches deep, while the Stuva is 19 inches deep, yet the Besta doors can be used on the Stuva. This came in handy for me in my family room. I have Bestas floating on the wall for the TV and electronics, and next to it I have a tall Stuva to store blankets. The Stuva I got was 75 inches tall, so I used three 25-in Besta doors and used an L bracket on the back to connect them all and make it function as one solid door. You’ll love the Besta – so easy to make it your own.

I received a hand-held milk frother from my hubby several years ago. It is still one of my favorite gifts. I use it all the time!!
Merry Christmas!

Ooh those trees are so pretty! Would love to see what you end up choosing for storage. I have a similar situation in my office/craft room.
