When I open Instagram, it feels like I’m the last person on earth that hasn’t decorated for Christmas yet! I know that’s clearly not reality but I’m definitely feeling behind this year. I put our tree up last week but it hasn’t been decorated, nor have I touched anything else around our home. I’m not wanting to go too overboard this year since we’ll likely be listing our house in the spring and it just felt like that much more to deal with come January as we prep. With that, I have decided to only purchase a few select items this year and then reuse everything else from year’s past! Today I’m sharing a few fun finds I picked up on Wayfair that will help give a sneak peek of the direction my decor will be headed this year.

Each year, I’d guess that nearly half of my holiday decor comes from Wayfair. They have such a huge selection regardless of your decorating aesthetic or style for the season. Whether you’ve already started decorating for Christmas or are still embracing fall and only just starting to plan your Christmas decor, you won’t want to miss out on these Wayfair Christmas finds I’m loving lately!
A few pieces worth highlighting:
I was blown away by the quality of this tartan plaid and velvet tree skirt. I mean, how can you not love plaid, velvet bows, and scalloped trim for the holiday?! It’s perfection! For a more affordable red tartan option, be sure to check out this skirt, as well!
I had been searching for a garland to lay on a table, and this artificial cypress garland was perfect! I love the pine berries sprinkled throughout. This one is a great find for the price!
Hello cutest tartan plaid ornaments ever! Since these are a bit of an investment, I only ordered six and then plan to mix them throughout with my other ornaments. One of the benefits of having a tree that backs a corner 😉
I love the vintage vibes of this oversized ornament wreath! I plan to use it inside, but hung it on our front door so you could see the scale. It comes in a few colors and sizes and is something that will be classic for years to come! Please note: there is tinsel woven throughout that is hard to see in the stock photos (and even my photos). It’s not super prominent but I wanted to mention it!
I’ve found that many of the on-trend yet classic tartan throw blankets this year are wool or a wool blend. So I was excited to find this option (which is also available in additional colors) that is 98% cotton, which works better for our climate!
They’ve also re-stocked the block print Christmas tree skirt I used in our loft last Christmas! It matches this rug that we have and love in our carriage house. The skirt sold out last year within a few days, so I was excited to see it back in stock! Henley and worked her magic on it here right as I was taking the picture.
While most of these items all lean a bit more red, the main color in this year’s decor will be…. NAVY BLUE! I’m excited to bring back that color into my decor this season. Stay tuned for a *hopefully* fully decorated house tour in the next week or two!
