Sunshine

The sunshine was all I needed to be inspired to buy a mirror for our master bedroom!

We needed some sun{burst} this weekend thanks to our first snowfall of the year.It sure was nice seeing the sunshine!

Ebay and my purses were very good to me this week. I listed seven and sold six, at or well above what my minimum was – I really thought nobody in their right mind would pay that much for used purses {sometimes more than I originally paid for them}.  I earned enough to proceed with this project {and several more}.  It was definitely worth all the time I spent posting and answering questions about my goods.

Originally, I was going to buy the Cyrus mirror at Neiman Marcus, however, I saw a nearly identical one at Z Gallerie for $20 less, plus it happened to be their friends & family weekend so I got an additional 20% off!  That way I didn’t have to mess with shipping costs either.

Here was my Photoshopped projection of the master bedroom.  I told the husband I was so impressed with my skills – he kept it real by reminding me of this Photoshop job and hopes we can manage to make it look better than my projection.
A round mirror above the bed in the master bedroom.
And here is the actual.  It would pretty much be identical if I felt like really making my bed today.  But I didn’t.  I am also contemplating the removal of the pelmet boxes.
A baby blue bedspread, throw pillows on the bed, a striped wall and a round mirror.

There is a small lamp on the tables beside the bed.
Thanks for all the votes!  I am very happy with the choice.
A before and after master bedroom makeover.
