When we changed our living room setup we had an extra sofa table and coffee table. I decided to move the sofa table into our entry way but I wasn’t totally happy with the color (I have had it for almost eight years and was ready for a change). So, a few coats of high gloss black spray paint enamel and a few more coats of wipe-on poly (to smooth out the glossy finish and make it wipeable/dustable), some light sanding to distress the edges, and I was good to go!

Spray paint is definitely a great solution when you don’t have the funds set aside for new furniture ~ cheap and easy!
