Prior to ever purchasing a piece of furniture or painting a wall, I do tons of online research to see how the item or color looks in a real home. This section is intended to help those that may be looking to purchase something we have and need to determine if it will look right in their space. If you don’t see an item listed please contact me and I will get the information to you. I’ll start with the furniture we currently have, but towards the end of the page you will also find furniture we used to have in our home.

Living Room Sofas – We currently have the Pottery Barn York Slip-Covered Slope Arm Sofas. We went with the 95″ Grand Sofa with the bench cushion. The fabric we selected is the Performance Everydaylinen™ by Crypton® Home in the Oatmeal color. Be sure to read my in-depth Pottery Barn York Sofa review if you have interest in it!
Living Room Chairs – We ordered these spindle bobbin chairs in the Ivory finish with the Bevin Natural fabric.

Current Dining Room Furniture
We purchased our dining room hutch at Nebraska Furniture Mart in late 2016. Unfortunately it is no longer available there or other stores. However, I wrote a post dedicated to our current hutch with all the details, along with some reclaimed wood hutch alternatives, that offers many similar options at a variety of price-points. We’ve also been very happy with our reclaimed wood dining room table and linen slipcover dining chairs!

We have two of these wood campaign desks and they have worked very well for us! They are a nice size, very sturdy, and have a single drawer. For the price, they’re hard to beat!
We’ve also been happy with the bookshelves in our office. We have one on each side of the room to serve as our credenza and storage space.
Older Furniture Details
Old Living Room Couches – Bernhardt Whitfield Sofa. We have loved these couches since purchasing them December 2011. In a house full of cats, we needed something without a pillowback that was still stylish – which can be hard to find! I loved the durable herringbone fabric and the nailhead trim.
Living Room Chairs {also seen in first couch photo} – Bernhardt Hughes Leather Chair. Very comfy and one of the few my husband and I could both agree on.
Living room coffee table – Bernhardt Freeport Coffee Table. This thing is massive and HEAVY! But I love the size and unique shape and finish.
Living Room side chair – Putty Linen-Like Dining Chair. I love this chair. My one complaint is that it was back-ordered four or five times {which means five+ months} before I received it. It looks great though.

In home #2:
Entryway console table – Safavieh Simon Natural Console Table. {Recycled glass bottles, boxwood topiary, and lamps and mirror are all from HomeGoods}.
We purchased our prior dining room table from Nebraska Furniture Mart, but you can find the identical set here:
Living room credenza – Century Furniture Waltham Credenza in black. This was love at first sight for both me and my husband. It is such a timeless, beautiful piece and we receive compliments on it every time someone visits our home.
Master bed – Bernhardt Cooper Wing Bed. Ours is the king size and totally ups the glam factor in our bedroom. We love it.

In home #2:
Queen Guest Bedroom headboard – Safavieh Connie Blue Headboard here which is no longer available but you can find a very similar option .
Bonus room chairs – Sussex Beige Linen Club Chair. This is probably one of the most affordable finds out there, give that the price is for a pair. And you can’t beat Overstock’s free shipping! My brother and his wife bought a pair after our purchase. These are a great find for the price!
Kitchen Barstools – Lydia Linen Barstools. We love these. They are the perfect height and are very comfortable and have held up considerably well over the years!
Craft Room Chaise Lounge – Cleo Natural Linen Chaise. One of the most affordable I could find {nearly half the cost of many others} and I feel the quality is great!
Craft Room Ghost Chair. I LOVE that it takes up so little visual space but looks high-end and shows off an added throw pillow well. The desk is this one from Staples.
