simple spring and summer decorating

Decorating Ideas, Tips and Trends

I love a minimalistic approach to decorating in the spring and summer.  Clean lines, fresh colors and linen-like textures.  I have my eye on these items and will be on the lookout for looks for less that I can mimic since most of these aren’t cheap:

branch bowl from z gallerie
just purchased this cute table runner from cb2 – it looks like lace but is liquid vinyl so you can wash it off – saw it originally here
pure + good hand soap at anthropolgie – i have seen this in person and that bottle is heavy – you could definitely refill later once the soap runs out – i love its vintage vibe
artichoke vase filler
i love artichokes in the kitchen – this vase filler from pottery barn is perfect
And have you seen the latest stuff from Restoration Hardware?  I was over that store for a LONG time but lately there have been some really beautiful items.
I would live outside if I had a space like this:
Maybe it is just the scenery I love ~ it reminds me of the Italian countryside or something:

This is my dream dining room ~ I am pretty sure it could not be any more perfect.  The linen/nailhead dining chairs, the green boxwood topiaries, the espresso dining table, the matching drum shade chandeliers…perfection:
