RH Holiday

I received the RH holiday catalog and I am sharing my favorite items from the pages!

I know it’s way too early to start talking about holiday decorating. However, I got the Restoration Hardware Holiday catalog in the mail last week. I’ll be honest – I almost didn’t flip through it. One, because their prices are insanely higher than I am usually willing to spend, and two, I feel like their catalogs tend to showcase a little too much {as in, every.single.item they sell}. Case in point – the RH Spring “Catalog” I Instagramed earlier this year. Ain’t nobody got time for that!

RH magazines in a pile on the table.

However, the RH catalog included items that were not only attainable, but I also felt like it was curated well.

Glass cloches wth little lights in them.

Here are some of my favorites:

Various sizes of mini trees with lights.
{Winter Wonderland Trees}

I love these rustic little trees. They come in both birch and wood bark with snow options and they are sprinkled with warm-white LED lights. The best part is they work indoors or out. They start at $65 and the 6′ version is $119. I may actually add the $65 4′ version in our potted planter on the porch. Love!

{Vintage Illuminated Marquee Words}

These would look so cute on a mantel or entryway table. They range in price from $159-$239 for the word sets {each letter is 13″ tall}.

Faux fur blankets folded in a stack.
{Lux Faux Fur Throw}

These faux fur throws just exude coziness and warmth to me. I plan to add one or two to my list this year. RH has them on special for $79 right now {usual price $99}. Interestingly, Pottery Barn sells something similar for $129. It’s not frequent that RH is more affordable than PB.

{Luxe Faux Fur Pillow}

If the throws are a bit much for you, the pillow covers are on special for $24-$39 right now!

Faux fur scarves around mannequins.
{Lux Faux Fur Scarves}

Those out there that read my blog wishing to buy me a Christmas gift, look no further than these $29 lavish faux fur scarves. I love these {especially the coyote – the upper right version}! I’m not sure that even Old Navy could sell them this cheap!

White, gray, dark brown and brown faux fur slippers.
{Luxe Faux Fur Slippers}

I also wouldn’t mind a pair of these $19 faux fur slippers {in sable – the upper right version}.

A clear swirly straw that is extra long.
{Sip ‘N’ Swirl}

I have a niece who would totally get a kick out of drinking her milk out of this. Heck, I know some adults that would enjoy it for their adult beverages! At $8, it’s pretty foolproof and would make a fun stocking stuffer.

Vintage iPhone stand.
{1920s Vintage iPhone & iPad Gramophone}

This is so much more stylish than all those cheesy, techy looking iPhone/iPad players out there. Love the vintage vibe!

Wooden skee ball game.
{Vintage Arcade Skee-Ball}

As a child, I was a professional skee-baller. Or I would have been if such a thing existed. Now granted. At $6995, this doesn’t qualify as affordable. But it qualifies as bad ass, so it made the list.

What are your thoughts on holiday catalogs in October? I’m not one to be skipping over warmer seasons, but these pieces actually make me a little more eager for the coming colder months!

P.S. Don’t forget to check into my fabric sale on Friday morning at 10:00 CDT!

    I agree with you on the everyday RH catalog but I always love their holiday stuff. Even better than their catalogs are just walking through their flagship store around December in NY. Too bad I can’t live in there 🙂

    I have the scarf and slippers from last year! They are truly luxurious and makes me look forward to winter so I could wear them. I also bought a bunch of the slippers when they went super sale early this year and will be giving them as gifts to relatives!
