Orb Light: Installed

Room Makeovers + Design Plans

I finally installed my Crystorama Solaris Orb Chandelier and I love it!

If you follow me on Instagram, you saw we were able to take down the ceiling fan and hang our Craig’s List orb light on Sunday. It’s the stunning Crystorama Solaris Orb Chandelier in the English Bronze finish and I got a killer deal on it. I love how much more sophisticated everything looks in our bedroom now with just this one change!

Here’s a reminder of what our master bedroom looked like before the swap. The main photo is two weeks after we moved in {obviously taken at night} and there is a close-up of the fan as well as the bedroom how it looked when we did the walk-through.

The master bedroom with a ceiling fan light.

And here is the new light in all it’s glory! Such a great change! It completely transformed the look of the room and added instant personality! I also think it helps to show off the ceiling detail – versus the fan which felt like it blocked it all.

After hanging the light I told my husband it made me want to start working on this room – paint, curtains, etc. He emphatically said ‘no’. I’m not allowed to start another house project without first finishing all the others I have started. Touche. Someday soon!
