One Room Challenge: Laundry Room Makeover Week 2

Room Makeovers + Design Plans

Welcome back to week 2 of the One Room Challenge! You can see my original post here to get up to speed if you’re new around here!

As a reminder, here was where started just over three years ago, and then the look after I transformed the space nearly a year later.

Laundry Room Before and After - Life On Virginia Street

Definitely an improvement, but it also wasn’t entire my style. You can read my plans for the space along with my design ideas, if you haven’t already done so.

This week, I was able to strip the room down bare. In lieu of a lot of words (especially since I have a second post going live for you today), I made this fun little time lapse of my progress as I worked last weekend. Sometimes pictures just speak louder than words! It wasn’t until a few photos in that I realized I needed a tripod to make this work successfully, but it’s close enough 😉

Could Henley possibly be any cuter?! I mean, seriously. She’s definitely the world’s best project supervisor. So, here’s where we ended up with the space this week. It already feels so much better to me. I always love a blank slate!

Laundry Room In Progress - Life On Virginia Street

The truth is, I actually got even more completed that I can’t wait to share, but with my travel schedule the next two weeks, I’ve decided to share my progress in increments. So, you’ll have to wait to see what projects I was able to wrap up. The room already looks so different! Thanks for stopping by and be sure to check out all the progress the other One Room Challenge participants have made as well!

If you would like to follow along on more of my home decor, DIY, lifestyle, travel and other posts, I’d love to have you follow me on any of the following:

Such a cute supervisor! I’m with you – I love a blank slate – way easier to see the vision that way! Can’t wait to see what’s next!

I’m in the same boat as you with quite a bit of progress done that I’m waiting to share ;). It’s hard when there isn’t any major reno going into a room to have tidbits to share over 6 weeks so I’m all for spreading out the progress shots.
