I have been searching for nightstands for months for our guest bedroom.  I have found that most are ridiculously overpriced ($175-250 a piece and those aren’t even fancy once) and they aren’t even that cute.  I found these at Marshalls for $30 a piece and thought they were cute.  They are meant to be knockoffs of these that are very popular and sell for $625 a piece!  Target and Overstock also have knockoffs but still range between $50-$100.The husband did not understand my excitement when I brought them home.  He said they looked like TV trays and that the cats would knock them over in no time.  We did a little test last weekend and I put one in the center of the living room.  I said if it fell over by the time we got home from dinner I would return them.  They were still standing!  So, let me know your thoughts – do they look right in the room?  I think they are really cute but the cords kind of bother me since they aren’t hidden {I am sure I could find a solution for that}.  I think the round shape works well with all the square lines.  The price is perfect and right in the range I was hoping for.  Please keep in mind I need new lamp shades as the black does not look right.  I also found curtains at Z Gallerie this weekend that are exact matches to the pillow on the bed.  I am still debating if we need them.

We opted not to work on the hallway today because we are headed to Iowa shortly for our brother-in-law’s 40th birthday.  So, here are some shots of where we left off {hopefully we can fit some time in tomorrow to work on it}.  I finally got a tripod and it helps SO much for shots where I am trying not to use a flash and let in more natural light.  Still have a few weeks left on the hallways but I love how it is coming along – it brightens up the space so much!
