Today marks the start of Wayfair’s Black Friday in July Sale, with savings up to 80% off and free shipping sitewide, now through July 27th! It’s their biggest sale of the summer and the best time to prep your home before the chaos of back-to-school, fall schedules and the holidays arrive. Today I’m sharing all the items we bought for our new home that are included in the sale!
Whether you’re looking to add some coastal cottage vibes or refresh your outdoor spaces for summer, this sale is the time to do it! Here is a peek at a few favorites included in the sale. And yes, my vase with fresh palm clippings likes to travel around the house with me for photos 😉
Our living room is probably the most “complete” room in our home so far. We’re just waiting on the woven roman shades and some accessories like throw pillows. I also really need my jasmine trellis wall installed on the side of Kurtis’ garage gym so I have something prettier to see out the window! We used this wool & sisal rug in both our living room and bedroom and love it so much. It brings all the coastal, summery vibes while still looking classic and timeless.

We may not have an actual bed in the guest bedroom yet, but the arrival of the other accessories helps to make it feel much more finished. Love the fresh, summery vibes in here – despite the frat house style bed on the floor.

The carriage house is quickly becoming one of my favorite spaces! That’s why this time around, we’re making sure we also use it, in addition to our guests. We’re missing a few cabinet doors and window coverings, but this one is inching closer to the finish line! We loved this affordable faucet so much, we used it here in the carriage house kitchen, the butler’s pantry and the laundry room. It looks so nice in person!

Following are even more of the items we bought for the new house included in the sale:
- Nearly all of my Annie Selke/Dash & Albert rugs I ordered for the house are on sale. I love that several are indoor/outdoor so they can be used on your patio or indoors! We have this rug, this rug (in two rooms), this rug, and this cutie striped number in three places! Various sizes have different markdowns but I can’t say enough good things above this brand of rugs I’ve used for years!
- Speaking of rugs, the plaid jute rug we bought for Kurtis’ office is on major sale! The color tone and pattern were exactly what we had both envisioned for the space.
- The viral upholstered bed that we bought for the cat room. We went with the Classic Talc Linen color after I ordered several samples (they’ll send them to you for free from that page)! It’s currently $100 less than I paid for it and I love that you don’t have to pay freight charges for shipping!
- I bought two sets of these nightstands after ordering one and loving them so much! They look like several much more expensive options and the quality is excellent. They arrive fully assembled (you just have to flip the knobs which takes a minute or two). I ordered the taupe color for the guest bedroom and the smooth white for the carriage house. Can’t recommend these enough!
- Our carriage house counter stools were exactly what I was looking for. They have a back but it’s low enough to not take up much visual space sticking over the little island in the space. The upholstered seat section can pop out (it’s secured with velcro) so you can easily repholster or remove for cleaning. Kurtis and I both found them to be very comfortable too! They’re on a really great markdown for the sale!
- Our polished nickel door handles. These are one of those small details that adds such an impact to a home. They’re an investment but since we ordered from the onset, we were able to offset the cost with what would have been installed and only had to pay the difference!
- I bought this budget-friendly sconce in the white/brass gold color combo for the cat bath and the pool bath. Since we already have can lights in both spots, this serves more as accent lighting and also helps fill the gap above the mirror with our tall ceilings.
- We ordered this bathroom faucet and this kitchen faucet for multiple spaces. They have the weight and look of many other more expensive lines but are so much more cost-effective. We couldn’t be happier with both options!
- On my wishlist: these melamine pieces I’ve been eyeing for ages for outdoor meals.
- If you’re specifically on the hunt for some outdoor pieces, I shared a lot (and many are included in the sale) in this post.
