Guest Bedroom Bench

Decorating Ideas, Tips and Trends, Room Makeovers + Design Plans

In planning the updates to our queen guest bedroom, I quickly realized the room needed a bench or other flat surface for guests. A dresser would be more costly and not quite as practical {given that it is a guest room} and so I began the search for a good, long bench for the foot of the bed.

Enter the Limoux Grey Carved Oak Bench. It was 10% off for President’s Day, plus I had an additional 10% off coupon. On Overstock, I noticed the brand was Safavieh, which I know several stores carry. So, I did a little more research, and found that it is also sold as the Safavieh Priscilla Upholstered Bench. For nearly $150 more than what I paid for it on Overstock. Every review I found online had nothing but positive things to say about it and many compared it to a Restoration Hardware bench.

I love the weathered oak legs, the color of the linen, and the nailhead is to die for {obviously}. I’m excited to have this new piece to get one step closer to finishing our queen guest bedroom. But honestly, if this thing is too pretty, it might get moved to our bedroom 🙂

Sometimes this bench will appear in a Joss & Main sale. I’ve been eyeing it for months now!

It will be perfect in that room – can’t wait to see it all put together.
