Today I’m excited to share the first of a few gift guides I’ll be sharing over the coming weeks – this time with a sweet giveaway at the end. Not only that, you can hop to a few other blogs to enter their gift guide giveaways as well! The items in today’s giftguide are personal favorites of mine – things I just can’t live without. But, at the end of the post, you’ll have the opportunity to enter to win some of my favorite things that I mention! Kinda like Oprah on just a tiny bit smaller scale 😉 I now present – my favorite things which also all happen to be great gift ideas!
Favorite Colored Lip Glosses: they make the perfect stocking stuffers! Viva Glam V & VI Lipglasses – both are gorgeous colors! The first time I tried these was ten years ago before our wedding and I’ve continued to buy them both again and again.
My favorite throw. I bought it when they had a light blue version available but the new color versions are every bit as gorgeous and I love the jewel tones for this time of year!
Favorite art: Lindsay Letters. Do I really need to say anything more? My blog is partially devoted to drooling over everything she makes. I believe I own at least a dozen of her pieces now and I have many more on my wish list. Favorite affordable red wine: 14 Hands Hot to Trot Red Blend. I’m usually not a fan of blends but this one is so good! A great host/hostess gift! You should be able to find it at your local stores.
Favorite workout: 30 Day Shred and Ripped in 30. If you or a friend want to get in shape after the new year, I promise you this will give you amazing results if you stick with it! I’m current doing Ripped in 30 and loving the results.
Favorite chalk-based paint: Country Chic Paint. You all know I’m no stranger to a good furniture makeover and a lot of that is possible in part to Country Chic Paints and their amazing chalk-based paint. I love that on most surfaces you don’t have to do much prep work, saving me a TON of time. Not only that, they have a gorgeous selection of colors!
Favorite Hot Sauce: Crazy Gringa Hot Sauce. It is made locally and both my husband and I are addicted {he uses some on nearly every meal}. We met Mary, the owner of Crazy Gringa Hot Sauce, at one of our favorite Omaha restaurants, La Mesa. We literally eat there every Monday night {all-you-can-eat taco night – we can’t so no to that!}. We were likely one of Mary’s very first hot sauce customers {the Chipotle and special edition Scotch Bonnet Pineapple are our very favorites} and now the product is sold in stores all over Nebraska and Mary has customers all over the country! I’m actually not much of a hot sauce fan {sometimes ketchup is spicy for me} but the Crazy Gringa Hot Sauces actually have amazing flavor to go with the spice. We can’t get enough of it! Favorite sunglasses: Ray-Ban Aviators. A classic yet also on trend – and at this price they are much more reasonable that regular retail!
Favorite fabric: Windsor Smith Riad in Clove. I have it in multiple other colorways as well, but this version {as used in my office curtains} is my favorite. The scale and overall look of this print goes so well with so many other fabrics I just can’t get enough!
Favorite random object: notebooks. I’m a total doodler and love to jot down ideas/measurements/random thoughts as they come to mind. I love these darling notebooks from J. Crew Factory and they are so affordable! Perfect stocking stuffer idea here.
Favorite drink: Perhaps one of my strongest vices in life – Starbucks Coffee. Honestly, nothing beats a Venti Skinny Vanilla Latte. And this time of year? Pretty much any thing they sell sounds amazing. I love getting Starbucks gift cards in my stocking each year. It really is one of those gifts that it seems like anyone can use – even if they aren’t a coffee drinker {hello, pumpkin creamcheese muffins…}
