Today it feels like fall so I am sharing some of my updated fall decor.
And by fall, I mean that it was only in the 70’s most of the day, but did manage to break 80. There was a cool-ish breeze all day and we were able to open up our windows and finally let some fresh air in! It feels amazing after all the 100+ days with high humidity! School also started here this past week, which doesn’t affect me much other than it adds 15+ minutes to my morning commutes {which essentially more than doubles my typical 10 minute drive}.
Well, remember the cute orange felt pillow I posted about here? I found a near dead ringer for it at T.J. Maxx yesterday, and for $14.99 I felt like it wasn’t worth my effort to try and make my own. The soft rusty color looks great with my forced color scheme in the bonus room {ever since we moved the main floor furniture up so the leather sectional could be downstairs}.  The photo is a tricky one to photograph though because the main part is a raw silk-like material and looks weird in photos. The pillow is so cute in real life and definitely reminds me that fall is quickly approaching!
I also hung up my pretty sunflower wreath in harmony of the changing weather. I always feel like sunflowers are a late summer/early fall reminder.
And since he didn’t make the cut in the photo above, here is Hawkeye the cat trying to be in the photo in my bonus room photos:
