Today I’m sharing my fall coastal updates I made to our office as part of my fall home office tour.
Happy Thursday! Yesterday it was nearly 90 degrees here again, but from here on out, the weather looks like it has officially transitioned over to fall. And I think for once, I’m okay with that! Today I’m teaming up with a few of my favorite bloggers (all of their homes are beyond stunning), sharing a newly decorated space in our home – our fall home office! If you’re stopping in from my friend Jen over at Decor Gold Designs, welcome! I can’t get over her gorgeous use of all those pumpkins in her home!

I’m opting to keep fall decor to a minimum this year, but I’m still adding coastal touches around our home that make things cozier and warmer for the cooler months. Last week, I shared our early fall home tour that included our kitchen and living room all dressed up for fall. If you missed it, you can see the full tour here. But here’s a quick look at those spaces before we move on to the office.
We recently renovated our kitchen and it has been so fun to make updates for a new season!
FALL KITCHEN SOURCES: Basket Pendant Lights | Bistro Counter Stools | Similar White Ceramic Vase | Faux Olive Stems | White Dutch Oven | Lemongrass Ginger Soap Set | Cabinet Bin Pulls | Cabinet Knobs | Runner Rug
Our living room has recently undergone a few changes, as well, and with our fall updates it feels so cozy now! The images in the gallery wall are photos I took on vacation in Italy and had printed in black and white at Target.
We’re also loving our faux cypress tree in here for the fall and winter months!
FALL LIVING ROOM SOURCES: Linen Sofa | Spindle Chair | Chunky Knit Blanket | Gallery Wall Frames (similar here) | Lamps | Similar Black Cabinet | Wood Dough Bowl | Bronze Linen Pillow | Patterned Pillow | Coffee Table | Similar Oversized Wood Chain | Topiaries | Large Woven Basket | Faux Cypress Tree – Amethyst Home
But, today the focus of my post is the updates I’ve made to our home office for fall. This is a view I haven’t shared in awhile. Now that the doors are officially painted white instead of an almond color, I love this view again! Not only that, but I rarely change out our office decor seasonally, so this is the first time I’ve made any changes to the space since the office reveal last fall.
Kurtis’ side of the office always looks nicer because he basically sits in here a few hours each morning before work, and that’s it. So, it’s not a true office for him, so to speak. But, it allows me to style his side a bit more without much complaint since we really only keeps a laptop in here! I re-used these navy blue buffalo check pillows from Christmas last year. They look perfect in the office for fall! And if you’ve read here more than a month or two, you know I’m obsessed with all things olive-leaf in the fall! The ones I’m using here are from Pottery Barn, but for the price, I’ve also been happy with these olive stems I’ve been using other areas in our home! This white vase is a bit of an investment, but it’s my latest obsession. It makes such a statement in any room but has a timeless feel to it so I know I’ll have it forever!
Our usual abstract art from Lindsay Letters happens to be the same size as our blue pumpkins art, so they are easily interchangeable! I can’t get over how much I love this piece for fall! Not only that, it looks so good against the Benjamin Moore Hale Navy board and batten accent wall! Our whitewash wood bead chandelier is still one of my favorite light fixtures in our home!
Only a handful of our trees outside have started to change and/or drop leaves for fall. But, we love that our office has views of the outdoors on both the north and south sides of the room. The cats also love that they have the best squirrel watching in the office as well! I’ve been contemplating adding these navy striped drapes to another room in our home because I love them so much! The blackout liner works so great when I’m trying to block the sun on my computer during the day (my side of the room doesn’t have plantation shutters).
I added this faux olive tree to my side of the room and I love seeing it over my computer monitor! The wicker basket I used is a bit too large currently, so I may prop the tree up a bit and/or use some moss to fill in the opening. But I’m loving this cute little tree for fall!
The updated view from my desk chair is perfection to me! Our front door and board and batten accent wall in the office are both painted Benjamin Moore Hale Navy so I love that they tie in together. It also helps that the other walls in our office and our railings are now painted BM Simply White. It flows so well when standing in either space! And no, I don’t usually have random olive leaf bundles or candles in my inbox. But it just didn’t look as good with the usual mail sitting there 😉

I hope you enjoyed these additional fall updates to our home! The next stop on the tour is My Texas House. I met Erin in Dallas this year, and she couldn’t be sweeter and her home is so beautiful! This really cracked me up! I rarely comment but this is one of the things that keeps me coming back to your blog! I appreciate it when bloggers remind us that their homes aren’t always complete and utter perfection! Love it all! Thanks!

Sarah, you have such a beautiful home. The navy blue accent wall is striking and complementing blue pumpkin print is such a fun take on the season. I love the recurring theme of navy, white and light camel (with texture) throughout your spaces. Each room feels so homey and welcoming. I found your blog through Randi Garrett and I am excited to check out other posts. Thanks again and Happy Fall!

Hello!! I simply love your office color choices! Did you use simply white for the walls AND trim? If so did you use different finishes?
