I have had some serious fabric obsessions lately – especially when I can score designer fabrics at or below cost.

When our new bed arrives, I am either going to sew some new pillows for our room or for the second guest bedroom.  But here’s what I have in mind.  I just scored both of these fabrics and happened to find a photo online with both of them. Back fabric is Windsor Smith’s Pelagos in Mist {which I currently own in the clove colorway} and the front fabric is Schumacher’s Celerie Kemble HotHouse Flowers in Mineral {purchased from The Designer’s Attic}.

I’m sort of loving this pairing with the HotHouse that also includes my beloved Schumacher/Celerie Kemble Betwixt in the brown colorway {we have this fabric in our living room in aqua}.

The last fabric is an odd one but I love the graphic look and think it pairs well with other fabrics in our house. This one is Quadrille’s China Seas Aga in brown {also from The Designer’s Attic}.  Not sure where to use it yet, but we all know you can never have too many throw pillows!

Also seen in Billy Joel’s ex-wife’s house {I can’t remember her name} – although it looks like a reverse colorway to me:

Lastly, if anyone is still looking for a killer deal on Windsor Smith’s Riad in Seafoam it is going for a steal on Kirsten Krason’s blog {where I’m hoping to get the Pelagos if it isn’t sold out yet}. It’s only $40 a yard – which is even less than I paid for mine. It retails for $80+ a yard, so this is a serious bargain.

I LOVE FABRIC! I would love it if I could make some drapes out of any of these fabrics.  It is truly amazing to see designer fabric in person – it really is that much more beautiful and the texture is to die for.  But needing 3 yards per panel doesn’t really make it all that feasible.  A girl can dream though!
Oooohh….I also forgot to mention that after I posted this, I found the Windsor Smith XU Garden {a large version of Pelagos} at our local fabric store in the remnant bin for $5 a yard!! What?!  It has a stain on it but for $5 I was willing to try and clean it.  Here are the two items I scored practically for FREE!!
