Blue and White Striped Spring Home Tour

This post has been about two months in the making. But, I’m finally ready to share our spring home tour with you! Typically I’m in a rush to switch our decor over from winter, but this year I just had too many projects going to get it done any sooner. With that in mind, I tried to pick a handful of pieces that can carry into summer, as well, so that I’m not having to switch everything out again in another month or two! I’ve included sources for everything in each space after the tour of each room.

I recently painted our front door the most beautiful shade of blue! I’m pretty sure I couldn’t possibly love it more. It has completely changed the vibe in our entryway!

So many spring decorating ideas in this Blue and White Striped Spring Home Tour! I love this bright entryway with white walls, blue gray front door, striped rug, faux lemon tree and a lantern chandelier!

The color pairs beautifully with the Benjamin Moore Hale Navy wall in our office, too! We love our little lemon tree so much! The rug actually got pretty muddy a few weeks back and it cleaned up like a breeze as expected. Since it’s indoor/outdoor, you can even hose it off and bleach it!

A beautiful spring entryway decorated using blue, greens and neutrals. I love this view looking into the office - painted Benjamin Moore Hale Navy.

ENTRYWAY SOURCES: Striped Indoor/Outdoor Rug | Lantern Pendant Chandelier | Striped Wood Cabinet | Mirror | Faux Lemon Tree | Door Color: Benjamin Moore Water’s Edge

Moving down the hallway, this is the first time I’ve shown the newly painted walls! The BM Simply White looks so good here. The space just glows, and I love that the view out to the courtyard can be the focus rather than all the jagged walls with contrasting trim color.

Our living room was the last to get updated this spring, but I think it’s now one of my favorite spaces!

A spring living room and kitchen decorated in blue and white stripes. I love the linen sofas paired with the white spindle bobbin chairs!

These pillows from my post on TJ Maxx home decor finds are the real deal and so hard to beat the price for the quality (and the down inserts that come with them)! I’m really loving this color fresh color combo for spring!

Affordable spring throw pillows from TJ Maxx online. I love the linen sofa paired with the blue and white pillows.

This pillow sold out almost immediately when I shared it on my Instagram stories, but it’s now back in stock. Which is perfect because I was bummed I only bought one the first time around!

An eclectic pairing of coastal blue and white throw pillows for spring.

I still need to change up our “art” from fall. These are black and white photos I took in Italy and had printed at Target for under $10, but I think it may be time to switch to something a bit more colorful! I’m thinking some ocean photography for spring and summer!

A blue, white, and neutral spring living room. I love all the stripes and pops of green from the botanicals!

I’ll likely move the cypress tree to the basement for summer and back my favorite faux fiddle leaf fig tree.

A spring living room with blue and white stripes and faux green topiaries.

These faux tulips I picked up at HomeGoods have literally traveled around five different rooms in our home. They looks so life-like and the cats don’t try to eat them (that much)! A total win-win in my book!

The kitchen got some simple updates with faux cherry blossom stems.

A kitchen sink view with a blue island and basket pendant lights. All made fresh with faux cherry blossom stems for spring!

It’s hard for me to not always go with faux greenery. But I think the cherry blossoms are such a pretty find for spring!

A pretty kitchen with a blue island, white cabinets, navy blue and white bistro counter stools, woven basket pendant lights, and faux pink cherry blossom stems!

This view is still one of my favorites!

Moving into the dining room, I feel like the space is just begging for summer and warmer weather to show up! I can’t wait until we’re in full-blown entertaining mode again. If you’re looking for additional ideas, be sure to also check out my striped Easter tablescape.

Our master bedroom is a major work in progress, but the bedding was recently updated for spring. I have big plans for this space and can’t wait to share them all with you soon!

Our new nightstands are basically my favorite things ever.

Moving into our guest bedroom. This space is still in the late winter/early spring phase. So, I plan to freshen things up a bit and lighten everything for summer!

A navy blue and white spring guest bedroom. I love the white wood bead chandelier, the striped rug, the pick-stitch bedding, the rattan mirror and all the other pretty blue and white decor accents!

Everything about your home is just stunning! It feels sunny and light, but also cozy and welcoming. It has a fresh, up-to-date vibe without being too trendy. I never comment, but I always look forward to your posts and just had to tell you how much I love this!

Hi! Being a former Omaha resident, it is so much fun to follow you and love your decorating. I’d love to know where you purchased your large cypress tree. Being I live in Florida, I love a few touches of the Midwest in my home. Thanks!

Hello, your décor and home are stunning….and simply dreamy…I started following !. I am redoing a family house at a Lake, and am going for light and bright as well. I started thinking I wanted darker shade of engineered hardwood floors, but a designer I’m working with thinks I will hate the dust etc. Now considering Mannington Antigua collection Picaya Mesquite, Cinder color. Do you like your darker color, and may I ask what it is? brand and color / collection?
I also love, love love your blue gray paint colors!! My designer is suggesting Amazing Gray walls, but am a bit worried it will be too dark, given I am going for lite and bright!? Have you used Amazing Gray at all? The hall and laundry get no sun, nor the study. The trim throughout the house will be SW 7011 Aesthetic White and Kitchen cabinets and many others in the house will be Natural Choice. for a hall bath, I may do your van courtland for the cabinets, (you did for the laundry cabinets) but not sure, here again, if I need to go lighter on walls as you did so I can do the fun colors on cabinets and in some rooms?

Thank you! And sorry for the delay! Unfortunately we don’t have any info on our dark hardwood floors since they were in before we moved here. But, if we had to do it again, we would definitely go lighter. They show EVERYTHING and are basically always a mess with pool traffic, dust, and cat fur. I haven’t tried Amazing Gray but have heard it’s beautiful! It just depends how bright you want everything! We LOVE our white walls and they don’t feel boring or stark at all 🙂
