A Few Warm Days

Cats

We had a few warm days and the cats loved it!

Yesterday it was nearly 70 degrees in Omaha. Today was in the high 50’s or low 60’s. It is amazing how much better you feel when you can wear short sleeves and no coat! After work today I took the cats outside for the first time this year (and the first time ever for the kittens). The big kids needed to get combed because they were starting to shed, but they all loved the fresh air!

HENLEY (this is gross, but she found the ball of fur I had from the big kids and carried it in her mouth and ran inside with it. I think she thought she caught an animal):

HAWKEYE (he and Bailey are the fearless ones – he tried many times to jump off the deck from the highest point – I thought it was cute so I took pictures instead of trying to rescue him…):

BAILEY (I obviously didn’t do a good job brushing her – there is fur all over her in these photos. She looks so angelic but she is actually quite devious when she is outside):

BEARCAT (he wouldn’t hold still so there is only one really good photo of him – I have learned today that shooting from an overhead view is not his best angle…ok maybe he really is that big):

They are probably as grateful as I am that there are many more warm days in store for us soon!
