Once the holidays wrap up and the new year starts, I always find myself anxiously awaiting the arrival of all the resort wear launches at various retailers. I’ve always been a beach girl at heart, so when the warm-weather finds start rolling out, it always felt like the end of winter was approaching! Today I’m sharing all of my 2026 resort wear finds!

When searching for resort wear, I try to be mindful of selecting items that could also work well back at home in spring and summer. Now that we’ve moved to Florida, that has become a lot easier for me. But even when we lived in Omaha, I wanted to invest in pieces I knew I could wear over and over again! Over the past few weeks I’ve ordered a lot (and feels like I returned even more – ha!) but I think I found some gems!
We’re headed to Hawaii’s Big Island next week for Kurtis’ company incentive trip. Nine times out of ten, his trip falls this time of year and is usually in a tropical spot so it gives me extra motivation to find some cute pieces. Admittedly, between the trip location this year and recently watching Palm Royale (which takes place in Palm Beach), I went a bit all-in on the touristy tropical vibes! But I also tried to include some quality, classic and timeless pieces as well. As a side note, I’ll be sharing some Amazon specific finds next week. So today’s shares will mostly be from other retailers. Let’s jump into my finds!
This dress was one of my favorite finds this season. The jersey material is a great material for packing and has a nice, flattering weight to it. I went with an XL but probably could have gone with the Large too. It has a nice flowy shape that is very forgiving. And speaking of flattering, I’ll continue to sing the praises of this swimsuit year after year. I also love the more simple version without the bow. They also offer a long torso size which is very convenient! I’m also sharing a few of the Vivrelle purses I considered borrowing for the trip (but ultimately selected this one last night so it gets here in time). As a reminder you can use code LIFEONVIRGINIASTREET for one month free (so essentially three months for the price of two). I’ve been loving this service so far! You can see more about how it works here. And I’m still the person who loves cute denim cutoff shorts but refuses to wear the super short inseams. I was really happy with this pair! They have a bit of stretch and a more modest length. This brand tends to run slightly big (in part because of the stretch) so if you’re between sizes, you can probably go with your smaller size unless you prefer the loose/oversized fit look.

I ordered this floral eyelet dress from the recent Tuckernuck sample sale, and it’s still on sale! I also got a pink version that looks more like hibiscus flowers but that version seems to have sold out. But, the fit is cute and it’s one of the longer short dresses I’ve found on their site. I thought the white would be perfect for Easter and spring events, too! I found it to fit true to size, but doesn’t have any stretch so keep that in mind if you’re between sizes. Another swimsuit brand that’s a go-to for me is Tommy Bahama. Because I have such a long torso, I love tankinis (also makes bathroom usage much easier)! I ordered this tankini top and bottom this year and can’t wait to wear them! I usually take a Large in both their tops and bottoms, but love the fact a tankini lets you mix and match sizes if needed.

Navy blue, whites and neutrals are such a classic combination, particularly as it comes to resort wear! I love the nautical vibes the combo gives!

I’m very into cobalt blue this year and actually ordered everything on this next collages except for the necklace (of which I bought a different version instead). This terrycloth coverup is absolutely darling but I had to return it because it was way too short for my long torso and 5’9″ frame. If it had been a smidge longer I may have also ordered this version and/or this version.
After a few years of considering it, I finally ordered this eyelet skirt and love it! It’s much comfier than expected and is really cute on. It’s a great piece to wear as a coverup or out to dinner! I also ordered this look for less option to test. It arrives today so I’ll keep you posted. I’m not holding out too much hope since the largest size they offer is Large and I already find Amazon clothes to run too small (update: it was way too small for me. May work for those in a smaller size). When it came to the compression tank with the scalloped neckline, I actually preferred the fit on the Amazon version. I guess I underestimated the compression because I found it way too small/tight for someone that prefers a looser fit. I just wish the Amazon version came in the cobalt blue. Lastly, don’t sleep on these linen pants! They were a top seller last year for a reason. I already owned them in the flax color (in a long length) and navy (in the regular length) and just ordered the white because I love them so much!

I’m also very into the chartreuse tones paired with white and brown this year! I ordered these pants (which haven’t arrived yet) because I loved the crinkle version last year so much. They’re another great option that works both for day and night outfits with a few simple swaps of accessories. These all-weather bangles are an investment, but I’ve owned mine for years now and still get so much use out of them!

I ordered this eyelet coverup in navy blue and really love how the back is longer!

I ordered this dress last year for the Bahamas and loved it so much, I ordered this one that has a similar fit. It’s definitely a bit more body-con (I order the XL in both) but the material is such a great weight and so flattering! The embroidery on this seersucker dress is so cute! The dress is a loose fit but I ordered XL for length. The Large fit as well, so if you’re not long-torsoed or tall, I would order your smaller size!

I’ll circle back in a few weeks with what I actually packed and images of me wearing the items once we’re back from Hawaii! I hope you enjoyed this year’s resort wear finds!
