Welcome to this week’s Wednesday Watch List, where I share the random things that captured my attention and stole my heart over the past week!
1 – I always love to see designers’ on home tours. I’ve been a fan of Brooke Wagner’s for some time, and her home tour is beautiful. Suddenly I want to add some bursts of yellow in our house! I’ve featured Brooke’s work before, but if you’re not familiar, you be sure to check out her portfolio as well.
2 – Pottery Barn is currently offering an additional 20% off their sale items with code EXTRA20 and there are a lot of great items to be found! This diagonal stripe pillow cover rings in at just under $16! Now is definitely the time to stock up on throws too.
3 – If you follow me on social media, you saw that yesterday we had a legit snow day – no work! It gave me about six solid hours of working on the blog doing all that not-so-fun stuff I talk about. Basically, before I moved to WordPress mid-2014, I never used categories (those things that make my ‘Read by Category‘ pages work). I’ve tried to update them slowly over time, but honestly, it’s super boring. Of my 1,000+ posts, only about 300 had categories up until yesterday. I think I’ve made it to about the 600 mark now, so I feel good! Long story short, I also made some graphics for some of those posts, and it resurrected this post of mine that has been a long-time favorite (yet one you likely never saw). SO, if you’re in the market for linen barstools, these are ones you definitely want to check out. You can read more in this post on Linen Barstools for Every Budget (which also has even more options) or simply click on any on the image below to learn more (the only one that doesn’t work is the very top in the middle because it’s no longer available). It’s kind of like a mini Wednesday Watch List within a Wednesday Watch List 😉
4Â – This next DIY project completely blew me away. Can you believe this DIY faux amethyst geode is made from styrofoam?!? Lucy from Craftberry Bush nails it every time! Agate items are hot right now, but so pricey. Check out her simply tutorial to make your own.
5 – I saw this aqua interior front door on House of Turquoise and suddenly I’m contemplating painting ours. Honestly, with the exception of the light fixture, I could cut and paste this entire space into our home and be 110% happy. And in reality, the entire home tour is pretty stunning!
If you would like to follow along on more of my home decor, DIY, lifestyle, travel and other posts, I’d love to have you follow me on any of the following:

I seriously want all the PB throws!
Erin @ Her Heartland Soul says
I’m jealous you had a legit snow day. We were lucky to work from home but oh man I wanted to nap!
Anne says
Do you have any idea what paint color would be similar to the door color?
Sarah says
I know Benjamin Moore Palladian Blue is really popular on door exteriors and I think it would be a really close match! You could go up or down on the swatch (depending upon the light in your own home) to get a fairly close look. I would suggest this as a starting point. I’d love to hear if you try it! 🙂
