I was hard at work this weeked painting and finalizing some of our Christmas decorations. My curtains arrived from my mom, as well, so I got those ironed and hung. I love how it all turned out! We wish the brown paint had turned out darker and more dramatic, but it still looks good (it is the same {Benjamin Moore Davenport Tan} that we painted our main bath in, but it looks so much darker in that room). We also got some red soy sweater throws from Pottery Barn that we love – every other material seemed to create an electric current on our couch. These are very soft, cuddly and static free! Here is a before shot to show the green (which we liked but it was time for a change) as well as all the after shots.
We also hung Christmas lights on the exterior of our house for the first time ever! The husband did a great job (we are both a little particular about them being straight) and it was actually a much smaller project than we had anticipated (for once).
And here are my adorable faux Pottery Barn towels – I got them for a great deal at Marshall’s – the PB version is outrageous (ranging from $9.99-29.99 depending on size). I love the polks dots!
I have been burning this Thymes Frasier Fir candle for the past few weeks. I usually hate fake pine smell but this one is delicious and has a sweet smell to it as well. Highly recommended!
I LOVE the Christmas season!
