Beautiful Pink Decor

Decorating Ideas, Tips and Trends

I will show you how beautiful pink decor can be subtle and elegant!

You all know I’m more of a calming neutrals, blues and greens type decorator. But lately, I’ve seen spaces that I love that incorporate shades of pink and in honor of Valentine’s Day {which is quite honestly my least favorite holiday} I thought it would be fun to share some of this tasteful, elegant and beautiful pink decor. If you’re looking for even more pink {because this may be the last day of the year I focus on it} you can check out this week’s Wednesday Watch List.

For me, the key to not looking like a ten year old decorated the space is subtlety. Lots of neutrals or other colors with some splashes here and there of pink. To me this is when pink is most beautiful in home decor – and may also be the only time your husband will allow pink in your home outside the walls of a little girl’s bedroom.

A white bedroom with a pink and white pillow and light pink vase on the nightstand.

A bright pink headboard and pink pillows in a bedroom.

A bright dramatic pink chair in an office beside a desk.
{Pink Peonies Living Room}
A dressing room with light pink shades, a pink throw on the chair and bright pink shoes on the floor.
{Pink Peonies Closet}
Black and white striped walls in office with a black desk in front of it and a white chair with a pink pillow on it.
{Striped office with pink accents}
Pale pink blush walls in bedroom,.
{Blush and bronze bedroom}
Black and white walls, green lamps and pink pillows in sitting room.

A traditional living room with a pink and white armchair and deep pink chairs around a table.

Cobalt blue couches with a bright pink throw and pink flowers in room.
{Cobalt Blue and Pink Living Room}
Neutral gray tones with blush pink curtains and flowers in the room.
{Blush and Stone Gray Living Room}
White covers on bed, with pink pillows.

Don’t worry – I won’t be changing our home’s color palette any time soon. But I certainly do appreciate beautifully designed spaces using statement colors I’m not typically drawn to.  These spaces are all stunning!

I’ll be back next week with my blog survey feedback and to announce the winner of the giftcard! And as you saw from Tuesday’s Look for Less post, I’ve already begun to incorporate some of your recommendations. There’s lots more where that came from. Happy Valentine’s Day and President’s Day weekend!

    I love the soft little pops of color. There is an Instagram account called PinkinNYC that you should follow. So cute and interesting how she finds pops of pink in the gray NYC landscape.

    Love all this pink inspiration you’re sharing today! I would like to add more pink to our home decor but the hubs put his foot down. But I’m making over my home office and you better believe it’ll show up in there! 🙂 Happy Valentine’s Day!

    Such great pink decor. I’m in the planning phase of a redo to my home office. Since I’m the only gal in the house – I’m thinking this space is getting pinked! thx for the inspiration pics! xx, b
