Our office makeover is coming along nicely. Since I have been home this week on vacation, I was finally able to clear out most of the crap that remained from the old desk. Tuesday our new chairs arrived, so I’ve assembled them and cleared the old furniture out. My new abstract artwork also arrived from the lovely Lindsay Letters, and now we just need to hang it up. The room is starting to look a lot more finished and polished!
A few weeks back, I was contacted by Bellacor to help them promote their anniversary later this month. They offered to give me a light (along with a killer giveaway for you guys)! I said yes, because I love when timing works perfectly on a project – and when my readers can benefit as well. I’ll be sharing more about the giveaway soon, but today I Â need your help. As a reminder, here was the space a few weeks back when I shared our new desks.
You may recall in my recent office design board, I used a stand-in light fixture. I Â loved the whitewashed beads, but also knew the price was cost-prohibitive.
I’ve narrowed down my lighting choices to a handful of selections. I seriously love them all for different reasons. I was given a budget to work with, but I am willing to pay the difference if it means I find the perfect selection. Kurtis is 6’2″ and currently hits his head on my DIY “Wood” Bead Chandelier, now that we have changed the furniture layout. We’ve decided the new light fixture has to be 6-8″ shorter. So, I had to not only think of appearance but functionality and height when narrowing down these selections.

The Bamboo Orb Chandelier is first choice and a close second is the Axis Soft Gold Orb.

Ack, I am torn between the Bamboo and the Quatrefoil. Both are beautiful!
I like the quatrofoil chandelier but I feel like the bead chandelier is my first choice for your office. I like that it gives texture and similar to the desks.
My fave…bambo orb chandelier. I’, certain that whichever one you choose the space will look marvelous.
