Welcome to this week’s Wednesday Watch List, my round-up of things that have intrigued and/or inspired me this past week!Wednesday Watch List 022515

1 – I loved this post on creating better images for Instagram. The post is a step-by-step guide and I love the side-by-side comparisons of photos using this process. I’ve had the VSCO app for some time but typically forget to use it. P.S. Are you following me on Instagram? It’s a great way to get some project sneak peaks and follow us along on our travels and day-to-day reality.

2 –  I came across this pantry makeover from A Prudent Life, shared on this post from 11 Magnolia Lane, and its a total stunner. My wheels have been turning the past few weeks and I’m thinking it would be totally doable for us to add lower cabinets to our existing pantry for more concealed storage.

3 – We’ve been needing a bench at the end of our bed for some time. We had one in our last house and it not only served as a decor feature, but it was also very functional. I’m thinking of getting two of these beige linen and gold benches to sit side by side at the end of our bed {since we have a king size bed and I want to ensure the proportion is right}. Anyone own one of these? I feel like the price is incredible.

4 – I’m pretty much obsessed with anything related to coconut. For reals. And this homemade coconut ice cream {that doesn’t require an ice cream maker} may just have to be my treat of choice all summer. I haven’t tried it yet, but it sounds amazing!

5 – Let’s just say “hypothetically” that my cats are pretty much destroying our current dining room rug {yes, it’s like two months old but it’s their favorite shred toy – even though they have no claws}. I would likely end up picking something like this navy and ivory moroccan rug. It literally comes in almost 20 sizes {including hard-to-find round and square size} – so be sure to check out all the coordinating items. I am especially loving the raised profile it creates. So pretty!

I have the bench from Target, it’s gorgeous! I use it in a dressing area. The quality is very nice, especially for the price. I think two at the foot of a king would definitely have some room to spare on each side, but would not look too disproportionate.

I have the tufted bench and it is a great little piece. It’s pretty compact so I’d say that even 2 side by side would be too small for a king sized bed as they would look a bit short. Definitely measure or buy some and see you you like them!

Yay! So glad to see they have that bench back in stock at Target! I was going to buy them this fall but I was going to have to drive an hour to pick them up. And as they are on sale now too I’m going to order them right now! I think they are going to be perfect at the foot of my guest bed. 🙂
    Thanks for the head’s up!

Will definitely try the homemade ice cream! Love the bench if it came in silver, but no room for it at the foot of our bed anyway. Love the rug! Hhhmmm…..pantry lower cabinet but without cabinet door….wheels are turning.

    Hi Sarah,
I have that Target bench in my kitchen as a little space filler and a spot to drop my purse. It’s perfect. xo

You know that we love Melissa’s pantry–thanks for sharing it! And Amy has that bench in front of her fireplace. I love it and it looks WAY nicer than Target, if you know what I mean!

I love that Target bench, and I’ve actually been thinking about the same thing you are… 2 for the end of my king sized bed. I think they’d be perfect! They are a great price but I’m hoping to catch a sale!
