If you are looking to up your home bar game then check out all the bar cart inspiration looks!
I wrapped up a lot of great projects this weekend, but none I’m quite ready to show you in their entirety until the rooms progress a little further. However, I plan to finally reveal my office makeover next Monday, just in time for my next DIY Look for Less challenge. The creative design challenge helped me to take yet another route on my office design plans. So, it should prove to be an interesting reveal!
In other news, if you follow me on Instagram, you saw that a week or two back, I bought a bar cart at Target. Was I in the market for one? No, but it was marked down to $38 from $129 and I couldn’t walk away.

I plan to place the bar cart in our dining room. We had received a mini wine refrigerator for our wedding nearly nine years ago and it recently shelled out. So, the bar cart will be the perfect spot to store our alcohol.
My husband and I commented a few weeks back that we make for a terrible host/hostess. We pretty much only have alcohol drinks on hand that we drink. Which consists of about three items. This year, we want to make a more conscious effort to be more accommodating. Which in our minds equates to a wider variety of liquor. Obviously.
Here are some looks I fell in love with while perusing Pinterest. If you’re interested in more looks, I created a Bar Cart board as well. I’ve even thrown in some great ideas for those that don’t own a bar cart – or just don’t have the space. Try leveraging a fun tray!

Granted, our dining room looks nothing like these fun, colorful rooms, but I think the bar cart can be an area where I can interject a punch of dramatic color in an otherwise monotone room.
And since I consider myself a bar cart virgin, I plan to use this helpful guide from Red Envelope to accumulate the necessities. If booze can be considered a necessity.

Over the coming months, we plan to start adding to our “collection” so that come early spring / summer, we will have all the essentials on hand. Party at our house!
