A Little Pop Of Color

Room Makeovers + Design Plans

Sometimes just adding a throw pillow or two can add just a little pop of color that your room may need!

I saw these cute Pottery Barn throw pillows on clearance last week for $12 and thought they would be the perfect addition to our master bedroom.  I love the addition of the striking gold/maize color it adds to our bedroom.  It also helps to alleviate that “bought as a package set” look that I am trying to move away from.
A light blue bedspread with floral pillows in blue and gold.
The master bedroom with a striped wall and a large bed near the corner window.

And now for a little survey.  I really want a stunning sunburst mirror for above the bed.  Here are some I like that I can potentially afford.  Thanks to Photoshop you can tell me which looks best in the bedroom!  I do realize that it will require moving the bed to the right and centering the mirror from them, but you get the point.

Cyrus Mirror {Neiman Marcus}:

A large gold sunburst mirror is on the wall above the headboard.

Fretwork mirror {Neiman Marcus}:

Mirror that is round with a design from Neiman Marcus.

Pierre mirror {Z Gallerie}:

A round silver mirror that same as the one above but in silver.

Pearl Luster mirror {Pier 1} – although not a sunburst I like the pattern:

A pearl lustre mirror above the bed.

Driftwood Mirror {Crate & Barrel}:

A round driftwood mirror.

I think the Cyrus mirror (the first one) is my favorite, with the Pierre a close second.  Thoughts?  Keep in mind, I have no idea if these are the right scale or not 🙂  I was lucky enough to get them to look this good in the photos!  I must say though, it is kind of fun to virtually shop and decorate your house!!
